It's official...our next Disney trip will be to Disneyland Paris!

We're an American family who will be moving this summer to Belgium for three years--we're very excited to be heading back to Europe! :cool1: So of course I'm beginning to plan for our trip to DLP, sometime between mid-2009 and mid-2012. We've been there once, in 2001, stayed at the Davy Crockett Ranch and had a wonderful time. I've been lurking here on the DLP section of the DIS, as well as trying to navigate the official DLP site. The first questions I've come up with are regarding hotels. We are now a family of 5--children will be 11, 9, and 1 (or older, depending on when we go).

1. Most of the hotels accommodate 4 per room--am I understanding correctly that you canNOT add a 5th person under age 3, like you can at WDW?

2. Assuming this is correct, which hotels will we fit into? Davy Crockett Ranch, Thomas Cook Explorer's (adding the bunk room), any others?

3. When our oldest turns 12, will we have to pay a supplement for having a "third adult" in our room? (This would be an argument in favor of going sooner, right? ;) )

4. I assume it must be possible to book just a room without a package (for example, if you have an AP and don't need tickets)...are those rates available online anywhere?

Thanks for any help you can provide! :goodvibes

yes you can add a 3rd child as long as they are under 3 and also yes when your eldest turns 12 they will be classed as an adult so i assume you would pay an extra adult supplement in the room.

It is very difficult to book a room without tickets unless you already have an AP however you can get room only at hotels like Explorers through their own website, Expedia or Benotel.
You can sometimes get room only through Expedia in on site hotels as well
