We are going on the 7day Eastern-Nov 2 cruise and I was wondering how far in advance I can book my excursions. I have not paid for the cruise in full yet...but will do so once I know the time frame for booking excursions. I don't want to miss out just b/c I havn't sent in my final payment. Thanks in Advance!

I think it's 59 days before your sail date! We had to be paid in full first!

60 days in advance. We thought it was as soon as the final payment was paid because Dreams Unlimited immediately sent us the excursion forms. We tried then(it was a few days early) and were told you have to wait until 60 days before the sailing date.

When you pre-book excursions, is it via mailing a form, or over the phone?

You can reserve your shore excursion either through e-mail or by phone 877-566-0968.

From the information I got from the excursion desk, some of the more popular excursions (Stingray City, Banana boats, Parasailing, etc.) for the western summer cruises, are filling up within the first couple of hours. She recommended that you be paid in full the day before, so that you can call first thing to book your excursions (if you want a more popular one).

Our travel agent was planning on sending our last payment 60 days out, which according to the excursion desk, would probably be too late for the more popular excursions (due to the time it would take to get the information in the computer).

I'd book a few months in advance too but I found that you'll save money if you book some of them yourself and not through the ship. Most excursions are marked up and you can find them cheaper online..some at least.
