For those of you renting with Dollar a ?

Are you using the Fastlane or regular rental? How does the Fast Lane work, simular to EI? Sorry have a rental for a full size at $257 EI and the codes with dollar are too good to pass up! I just don't want to end up sorry I switched! Thanks for any info!! :)

Fastlane is not like EI at National. You still have to go to the counter to deal with the paperwork, but with Fastlane you have your own line to stand in and you get to go to the "front of the line" in front of all the "regular" people. Kind of like Fast pass! I've never run into a line at Dollar so it hasn't mattered much to me.

The middle of May, we arrived at MCO on an 11 a.m. flight. There were about 20 people in the regular line at Dollar. I went to the FASTLANE sign, and waited less than a minute. It does not take but a couple of minutes to get the paperwork complete and you are on your way. You do have to stop at the Dollar desk in the parking garage to get the key to your car. By the way, as I was walking away from the counter, I heard several husbands asking their wives, "what is that FASTLANE stuff about? How come we don't have that." I just had to smile. . .sure made my trip start out right!
