Well, it's finally arrived - we're off to WDW in the morning! The packing is just about finished and I've checked in online, so it's holiday here I come :cool1:

Hi all :yay:

I've just arrived at the Styal Lounge at Manchester Airport. It's very quiet - almost eerie. Food/ drink ok - pretty much same as last time. Just munching my way through a danish.

The airport itself is undergoing a major refurb and there's boarding up and workmen everywhere!

Bag drop was a breeze - although just a note, if you check in online, but don't print your boarding pass, you will have to do that yourself at a self-service kiosk before you drop off your bags - bit different from last time where these were printed for you at the desk.

Security went ok - queues very short. Dad was frisked, but mum and myself managed to go through without that delightful experience. :cool1:

Also, they are still giving free clear bags for liquids (although I think I heard Heathrow was now charging for these???)

Right, well only another 12 hours until we land :faint:

Hope you're all well and the weather in the UK isn't too bad!

Well, we're halfway through our hol and have just checked into the Blue Heron Beach Resort at LBV for our last 8 nights. We've got the most gorgeous view overlooking Lake Bryan.

We had a FANTASTIC week at Coronado Springs even better than last time! So far we've been to MK, EPCOT twice, AK and DHS and we're heading off to MK EMH tonight - 1am here we come!!!

The weather has been great - late 70's to mid 80's and mostly sunny, apart from yesterday which touched 90 and it was baking!! Oh and today we had some quite heavy showers and we had a few thunderstorms through last night. The sun's out again though now :cool1:

Had an awesome time in MK last night - got into the park about 8pm and managed to do almost all the rides,Spectromagic and Wishes between then and 1am. It was fantastic riding Big Thunder after midnight! It was a lot busier than we thought it would be though and when we left at about half past one, there were still plenty of people milling around, including quite a few eating ice-creams...??? :upsidedow

The weather today has been spectacular, so we've had a lazy, pool day :) Oh and I went shopping to Orlando Premium outlets and splurged on 3 pairs of Crocs (as my current pair have faired me so well during this trip - I AM A CROCS CONVERT!!). I got a pair of Cleos, Athens and Prima (the ballerina style) all for under $45 :woohoo:

Well, I think we're going mini golfing later and then ordering in a pizza.

Hope you're well. Netty, if you're reading this, i'm so sorry to hear about your dd - my thoughts are with you and your family and hopefully they'll return home, safe soon. :hug:

On a brighter note, this morning the weather has been gorgeous - it's been a lazy one playing mini golf (after rope drop at EPCOT yesterday). The crowds are steadily building back up and the restaurants last night were very busy.

Anyhoo, we're off to Trail's End this evening and to have a looksie around FW. But, before that, we're off on the ... DVC tour!!! :banana: My parents have been considering buying ever since I was in my early teens and we did the BWV tour years ago, but now we're not tied to school hols and I'm in a position where we could enter into it jointly, so it's just a case of when we'll buy and whether it's through resale or not (and of course we'd like the $$ rate to be better).
