NO WAY!!

Details, woman!

Well as you know...my Bday is that weekend. And I have APs about to expire that are burning a hole in my pocket...and I have that $90 credit on SW ;) Stacy and I were planning to go to Orlando this winter and do Disney and the new Harry Potter park. But now that the opening of that has been pushed back to the summer- we had to change our winter vaca plans.

No I just have to convince Randy :rolleyes1

That is so awesome! I hope it works out. We would have to plan a meet of some sort. How can you not do another solo trip when you have an AP and a credit?! Are you going to renew your AP??

Aisling is doing ok. She woke up sining Mamma Mia so off to school she went. I hope she lasts!

Black Friday is when I usually wrap up all of my shopping (no pun intended).

Aisling ran through the Animation Academy last time. There was a huge wait for the art lesson so we didn't do that. She enjoys the Movie Ride and the Backlot Tour so we'll do those. She LIKES the shows...don't get me wrong but if I had to pick a park to skip...this is definitely it. We haven't tried 50s Prime Time yet. I toyed with that for this trip but I thought she might think the car thing was pretty cool. And I didn't want to make a poodle (Pluto) skirt and you MUST wear that to 50s PT :rotfl: I'm sure we'll do ToT this year. I'm still nervous about RnRC. It really slams your head around. But Randy wants to take her on it so I'm sure I'll lose that battle :sad2:

I am glad she is feeling better! I love Black Friday!

The Art lesson at AA is fun if you get a chance. I can't give an opinion for RNR as Jordan is no where near tall enough. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will make it on the 44" rides - EE, Mission Space and Space Mtn (if it would happen to reopen early). Of course a poodle skirt would be a requirement for 50's - oh well there is always next trip!

My travel documents came today

Has anyone registered the Photopass Card they now send you with your travel documents with your name on it? It says if you register before you trip, you are eligible for special discounts...just wondering what the discount is???

No idea since your photopass is my photopass! :rotfl:

Excuse me...I have an announcement to make:

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/Disney%202008/767627819605_0_ALB.jpg

The Smiths only have 30 days until their vacation!!!

Let's get going to our Happy Place!!

:yay::banana::cool1::cheer2: for 30 days!

BTW...guess who might be going to WDW on MLK Day weekend???? ;)

No more details available right now. But the plan is to go MLK day weekend. IF they are still doing the whole What Will you Celebrate gift card this (which is the rumor)...I'm definitely going to arrive on Thursday (the 14th)...if only leaving enough time to go to a park and grab my gift card ;)

4 weeks....i hate the 4 week mark. OK well "hate" is a strong word but I am truly annoyed by 4 weeks. And I will explain why. You traditionally think of a month as 4 weeks...and we all know it isn't. SOOOO I get really annoyed that we hit the one month mark and then two days later- it's the 4 week mark. It feels like you are taking a step back :headache:

So to that I say: Boo to You 4 week mark

On another note- my child is driving me insane. She won't eat. At all! She won't eat breakfast or dinner and her lunch box has been coming home with everything in it. She's drinking fluids but not eating. This morning I got her to have a drinkable yogurt before school. She wouldn't touch anything else I offered her. Anyone else's kiddo go through a stage of this??? This morning I got so frustrated that I told her that she was going to wear her body down and get sick and she would be sick for her bday surprise. Of course she burst into tears. Bad mommy :rolleyes1

Counting down is weird. The ticker I did on here says month, weeks and days but then our countdown chain at home is in days. I think I prefer counting down days but I am too lazy to change my ticker!

Wow - not eating at all! Jordan is very picky and goes through various food phases but she has never totally refused to eat. Is there something she really likes that you can use to get her to eat? Like, no tv time until you eat this slice of cheese or something like that? As for lunch, Jordan's was coming home partially eaten (and I don't send much). The problem is she is a slow eater and they are busy socializing and then they hurry through lunch to get to their after lunch recess. So I told her if she did not eat more of her lunch that I was telling the teacher that she was not allowed to go to after lunch recess with the other kids (which I am sure they would never do but she doesn't know that). Good luck!

I don't know what her deal is...hoping that it's just a phase. She is also getting the final two 6 year molars so I'm hoping it partly that. She did eat lunch at school today so that's a start  At Aisling's school, they do recess BEFORE lunch (weird right???) so I can't threaten that one. I did try taking away tv and that didn't work. I'm trying pasta tonight. She loves pasta...if she doesn't eat that- I know something is wrong!

Sorry she isn't eating, that can be worrisome. I never make my kids eat. Sometimes DD goes through phases like that. She wouldn't eat hardly anything on our last trip in January. I just offer healthy foods and then let them choose how much. I do limit their sweets and juice. My son eats and eats and eats, and he is so thin. . . I think he gets that from his dad.

We normally limit sweets and juice (she doesn't get dessert after dinner unless it's a special occasion anyway)....but this week, I even tried bribing her with strawberry shortcake if she would just eat. NOPE! But she ate the pasta tonight. Maybe the phase is coming to an end?!?! She's so big for a 5 year old that I don't worry so much about her wasting away to nothing but I do worry about her losing energy!

Southwest Airlines has this thing called a "Ding" (it literally makes a ding sound) that you download onto your computer. It will notify you of a very brief sale (usually only for a couple of hours). The Ding is very specific (for instance this one was Manchester to Orlando, weekday travel in October, and out of the 8-10 flights a day that they offer...you only had two to chose from) But the planets all alligned because 1) I was on the computer when it dinged, 2) we are flying on a Thursday and a Tuesday, 3) AND our original flight times happened to be the random ones that were eligible :yay: :woohoo::banana::cool1:

Well we figured out what is wrong with my little monkey! I started to put together the pieces of the no eating last week, the intermittent fever, the belly ache complaints...she has a UTI. Well we are hoping that it's just a UTI but the labs won't be back until at least tomorrow. She's almost 6 and I've never used the weekend emergency service at her pediatrician...we've used it twice this month. We ended up at the hospital this morning for the labs.

Good news is that they gave her a GIGANTIC bottle of antibiotics. Hopefully this will do the trick!

But it's 25 days until our trip!!! So enough of this sickness already!

Try some children's motrin. It's an anti-inflammatory and will make peeing less uncomfortable until the antibiotics kick in. If she's more comfortable peeing, she'll drink more and that will flush out the bacteria. :thumbsup2

Hope she's feeling better soon!

See I asked my pediatrician about the pain and he said it would go away once she took the antibiotics...no it didn't!

Cathy- ya, I take that when i get utis too. But I don't think you can give it to children. The OTC one says 12 and up :headache:

Oh the poor thing. And poor Mommy too!

The only piece of advice I can give is to offer to let her pee while in a warm bath. It's kind of like the philosophy of giving birth in the water. It should help relax her. Of course you have to clean the tub later LOL!

Aw poor Aisling. First a door in the face and now this.:sad2: I hope the antibiotics work quickly! I'm going to check out the other thread now!:thumbsup2

Thanks! They aren't working great yet. She's still having some pain but at least I got her to drink something today  Unfortunately the hospital labs/cultures won't be back til Thursday :headache: Hopefully she's on the right thing!

I'm hoping she's just getting it all out of her system now :rolleyes1

How is everyone feeling about Disney's new promotion for next year???? Gotta tell you...it's not their best.

1) I don't like that WDW gets to pick and chose the organizations you get to volunteer for

2) I don't like that they are releasing the organizations in January, giving people going at the beginning of the year no time to register, volunteer AND get their certificate

3) AP holders are REALLY getting the shaft on this one.

I love the intent and the spirit of it. Also love they are including kids are young as 6.

Goes back to Disney being nothing if not fantastic business men :rolleyes1

3 weeks folks

I bet you've been wondering what happened to my update of our daily plans since I left off with day 2. Problem is that even I haven't see the outfits for day 3 so I can't include the pics of what the princessa will be wearing.

Here is what I can tell you...

Day 3 is Aisling's 6th Birthday!

We will start the day with a 8am ressie at BBB (where she will hopefully be picking the regular princess bun style because I really don't like the other ones!)

She will be dressed like her favorite Princess....with a twist ;)

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/AshCastle.jpg

Can you guess who it is????

If you guessed

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/GroupSnowWhite.jpg

you are right! But it's not a Snow White costume per se and will pay homage to a certain villian :rolleyes1

My plan after that is to hit up Main St Bakery for some yummy goodness for breakfast and then ride the rides to our heart's content. Maybe we'll hit up Fantasyland before breakfast...that probably makes the most sense.

At some point in the afternoon...we'll head back for a little break and to change.

And then it's off to.....

Get a birthday inspection from Lady T!!

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/Disney%202008/354057219605_0_ALB.jpg

Aisling's favorite character meal is 1900 PF dinner so that was a no-brainer for her bday dinner. Luckily the Cindy custom still fits so we can delight the Tremaines with it again this year :rolleyes1 As you may recall the plan was to have a yummy cake delivered there.

But then they extended the WISHES Dessert Party :cloud9:

So we will be attending that. And apparently, you can not attend a dessert party with a Cinderella custom...so if you are keeping track that will be 3 outfit changes in one birthday! :scared1: Stacy is making some kind of heavenly yummy outfit featuring our dear Heather's digitized designs (plug, plug, plug).

At what point does pushing a stroller just to carry all your park junk look insane?!?!

Pic of the Day!!!

Baby Ash and Baby Simba.

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/th_ashsimba.jpg

Both babies are so cute!

She was walking to the sinks in the bathroom and another kid came out of the stall and pushed the door into Aisling's face! Aisling being Aisling was more worried about the other kid because I guess she was crying that she had hurt Aisling!

Poor thing! Jordan is always more upset if she does something to someone or if someone gets in trouble than they are.

Oh no, poor thing! Better now than in three weeks though! At least now you know why she wasn't eating or drinking.

But it's 25 days until our trip!!! So enough of this sickness already!

So for those who didn't see my FB status this morning, I fell asleep last night watching the news. I was sitting up in bed...fully dressed....with my glasses on! I woke up at 2:30am after having a horrible nightmare. I dreamed I was having an affair with Jon from Jon & Kate fame and I had to care for his 8 children (who in my dream were like little animals!) Jon was on Larry King last night so I'm assuming that it was on while I was asleep.

In a weird coincidence, my little brother had a strange dream too last night. I'm posting it because I thought it would give everyone...especially LL a giggle.

Here is my brother's FB status:

Last night I had a dream that Julie Andrews wanted to do a faithful remake of Mary Poppins, which Disney was totally behind, but then they screwed her over when Jack Black decided to make a funny, modernized version and they backed his instead. Checked the dream dictionary... didn't help much.

Happy Sunday! We didn't end up the ER this Sunday so it's already better off than last weekend! ;)

I'm not so patiently waiting for the end of Randy's football game so that he can take Aisling to a birthday party. While they are gone, I'm going to finish up my last project...the iron-on shirts. Tshirts are all washed and ready to be ironed. Just need Aisling to be gone :thumbsup2

Stacy sent me some pics yesterday of what she is working on for Aisling's bday. She sent them while was in Toy Story so I was a little nervous that Aisling would see the pics on my phone. But alas, the surprise is still not ruined :yay:

Hi Kristine!

I posted earlier in your TR about our trip and how we are surprising our daughter with the trip too. We are now 15 days away and the suspense is KILLING ME! My husband is dying to tell her and to be honest so am I?
Are you having a hard time?

We are celebrating her birthday at home two days before we go with the grandparents and cousins and I am trying very hard not to give in and tell her about the trip!

I started packing already and have made our autograph book... I am not telling her Kindergarten teacher because I am too scared she will slip and say something! I think I may leave a message at the school late on Friday.

Have a blast! I look forward to reading your TR when you get home!

Thanks
Jen

I'm having a hard time not slipping! Keeping the secret isn't the issue. But accidently slipping is getting harder and harder!

I haven't told the teacher yet either. I'm trying to figure out when I should send the note in?!?!

Any pics of your autograph book????

We are doing cake at home the night before we leave. I'm worried about my in-laws slipping that night. They are infamous for that. Part of my wants to dis-invite them just so they won't ruin it ;) :rotfl:

My biggest problem right now is keeping the math right. Aisling knows she is doing something special for her bday but she thinks it's ON her bday. So I have to remember the difference between our countdown and hers!!!

Can't wait to hear how yours goes too! Keep the Secret...you can do it!!! :yay: :ssst:

Thanks for the bad influence! I ended up with two pairs!!! Crocs.com had the Hannah Montanta ones for 14.99 and I had the coupon to bring them down to $12.74 with free shipping....so I got the gold with pink fur and the purple with black fur. I got them a size bigger than she wears right now because I figured it would work better with thick socks!

Now, lets just hope they come before our trip!!! I'm thinking that I'll have her wear those for the airport.

I need opinions on trading pins. Aisling has never traded before but definitely has expressed an interest that she wants to trade the next time we go to WDW. So I bought a lot of 10 pins awhile back. "Problem" is that we got some cute pins and at least 3 or 4 of them i KNOW she's going to want to keep.

Soooo...what do you think? Should i order more? Since she's never traded before I don't know how "into" it she will get. Or do you think I should just say "listen kid, you got WDW as a present...trade what you have and don't ask for me???" ;)

Is that the fun of trading though...?? Deciding what you like and want to keep and what you want to trade? I think I'd just giver her the 10 pins and see how "into" it she gets. Maybe let her pick out one special pin she wants to buy at WDW to mark her special Birthday trip for her collection and the rest she can either trade or keep! :thumbsup2

I would advise caution. I thought my kids were going to be way more into it than they actually were. They started out with 9 each I got in bulk from ebay. They did do some trades but they never really wore them. In fact their last trip they didn't do any trades at all.

So they each have about 12 which makes 36 pins sitting in my basement gathering dust. That's alot of moola. Luckily it was Nanny's money and not mine.

Plus do you realize how heavy those things are? 10 is alot. Try carrying them around on your neck and see how cranky you get. So mostly I ended up with them in my park bag.

I would go with what you have for this trip. If she seems to be really into it then get more for your next trip. Cause you know this won't be her last trip there.

She's got lots of other new things to try like the kim possible missions. She'll be plenty busy. Just wait and see about the pins.

Oh and my best advice. Buy the pack of extra backings for them.

I'm at my panicky point!!! Aisling being sick is not helping. I have a raging cold and am on so much cold medicine trying to kill it...I'm high as a kite :scared1:

Aisling has 3 lanyards FULL of pins already (talking about an insane amount of money if you add it up). I'm taking them and making them into a shadow box to hang in her room (what else do you do with them???). She buys a couple of pins every trip but hasn't traded. Randy and I started buying some every trip too (before she went with us). So she had tons. But all the ones she has are "special" and are not meant to be traded. So a shadow box it is.

But alas, the surprise is still not ruined :yay:

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg269/ksc565/Disney%202008/th_651878529605_0_ALB.jpg

Yea for no ER! We went to see Toy Story on Sunday - we loved them!

Great minds think alike! I got the e-mail, saw the HM crocs, googled for a code and found a discount with free shipping and got three pairs - one for Jordan and two for my nieces for Christmas for $40. Not bad!

Are you going to post your reveal video on youtube?

Oh, I did read that Disney is closing all the Kidcot stops in Future World, but I haven't read anything about the Land... Perhaps the refurb was all behind the scenes stuff like plumbing and electricity. :confused3

Kathy

I am going to post it on YouTube so that my family/friends can see. I will put the link in my TR.

Didn't read about Kidcot closing. How crazy is that??? The one thing little kids like about the countries! :headache:

I read Kathy's post as saying just the Future World kidcot stops are closing not the ones in WS. I hope that is the case! Jordan loves getting her passport stamped and coloring at the stops!

I buy Jordan a certain number (from ebay) and she can keep or trade them but that is all she gets. She usually ends up trading ones she says she wants to keep so she can trade.

To celebrate my two week mark, I did a morning run to Target and started buying snacks and breakfast food (btw, great sale prices on at Target if anyone just NEEDS snacks and breakfast stuff!) I got those packs of mini-muffins for Aisling. I tried the cereal cups last year and that didn't work out. They are too big for her so half the cereal went to waste. She loves those mini-muffins so I figured...hey, it's quick and not that messy. And if she's taking forever eating them we can leave the room and she can eat them at the bus stops ;) :rotfl:

I also got a fun Halloween CD if anyone is looking for a Halloween CD. Aisling is performing the Monster Mash on Halloween for Dance so she asked me to get her a CD with it so she can rehearse at home. Target had a CD with all the original artists...it has Monster Mash, Time Warp, Ghostbusters, and a bunch of other fun ones (it has 5 creepy sound mixes at the end too) It also has I Want Candy...which was Aisling's song for Tap in her recital last year. I tried to find a CD with it for her to practice last year and couldn't find one...who knew to try Halloween CDs! She's going to be so excited . I'm listening to it right now at work!!!

How about Day 4 plans to celebrate????

Yes...Randy is going as Kevin Youkilis! He has the grey "away" jersey and a Youk tshirt. We weren't able to find baseball pants that didn't cost a fortune so he has red sox shirts that he's going to wear. He also has Red Sox flip flops and a hat. Only people from Boston will get it but that's ok!

I think just the Kidcots in WS are closing. If you look at the Epcot site on Disney.com....they are no longer listed. Hopefully it's not all of them.

Update on Aisling's medical stuff  Aisling has an ultrasound of her bladder on Friday and thank God no abnormalities we found. Her labs also came back and the UTI has completely cleared her system. She is having a renal ultrasound on Monday. They are also suggesting that she go see a GI specialist out of MassGeneral. But I am going to wait a couple of days and see if the stomach ache disappears on it's own. She just finished the antibiotics on Thursday night. She's now been on 3 different antibiotics for almost a month. I'm not convinced that those weren't causing the problem. So far no complaints today :rolleyes1

In the meantime...everyone in my family is being force-fed Zicam for the next 12 days ;)

We always gave our kids yogurt after taking antibiotics to put the "good bacteria" back in their system and help the leftover tummy-ache. Maybe that would help?

Her hair is so long now. I gave up with my Cindy (DD9 her birthday was yesterday and I must update my siggie) and had to cut it closer to her shoulder. It just took too much of my time and she wasn't ready to tackle it herself. Maybe this year...

Aisling's will be back to this length as soon as Halloween is over...kept it long for BBB. She can't comb it herself and she refuses to blowdry it (it's actually still kinda wet in the pumpkin pic). So much easier chin length.

SOOOOOOOOO excited. I am still at work, so the package didn't go out today. I will send it priority tomorrow. I cannot wait to hear about her reaction!

And, I love the pumpkin patch pic. Her hair is getting long and she is looking so much older! We have already discussed this, but you must make her stop growing! I don't think we will make it to get pumpkins this year. It is so rainy and muddy, I don't want to deal with it- that and my cold is back and much worse.

So, back to YOUR TR- things in the package
Snow white- check
Dessert party- check
Sally- check
Zero for Puppy- check
Lady T shirt for you- check
pins from the boys- check

And I need to put a special note in there too! I wish I had time to make that pink/green/purple bath robe we have been discussing forever!

For those who don't know what this is about...Aisling was smart enough to pick up on the fact that I've been talking to Miss Stacy daily for the past month or so scheming. So she figured that Miss Stacy MUST be making something for her birthday. She decided that since we are "going to the spa at Hershey Park", Miss Stacy must be making her a robe to wear :rotfl2:

Stacy went so far as to ask her what color she wanted!!!

So a very public shout out of thanks for Miss Stacy who is BEYOND generous in helping to make this such a wonderful surprise for Aisling!!!!! I still haven't seen the finished projects (except for Snow White) but what I have seen is absolutely amazing

Can anyone help my poor mind come up with a "to do" list for this weekend. I'm already packed...which is good but I have a bunch of little stuff that I know I need to remember to do and I know that I will forget when it's time to do them.

I have to go to court this morning for a termination hearing. While I'm sitting around doing nothing, I plan to make a list!

oooh and look at what I'm getting....it was mailed out yesterday. My own "Minnie as Malificent" to match Aisling

I did book it...yesterday! ADR day tomorrow! Which means I really have to figure out where we are going to eat TODAY! We are coming the 14th-17th. I have a room only at POFQ right now...hoping for a AP rate soon so we can add the DDP!

6 and 90 days!!!!

Only took 50 minutes but I finally got all my ADRs this morning! The online system was super buggy this morning. To get Le Cellier, I had to completely disassociate my reservation and it finally gave me a time. Then to get my other ADRs, I had to completely go out of the reservation system each time, disassociate my ressie, re-associate it, and try again. And you could only make one at a time and then have to go completely back out! SOOOO annoying! But I got Le Cellier for my bday :banana::banana:

That does sound quite heavenly...I'm super sick...maybe creme brulee would help :confused3 ;)

I've had a cold that doesn't want to go away. Oddly we got snow this morning. I think the change in the baromic pressure isn't helping. My head is pounding. I tried going to my happy place (Target) before work to pick up some last minute things for the trip and it didn't work....so I had a sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast ;)

If you click the link for kdzbear's TR, there are a couple of pics there. My guess is that more are going to start popping up. Frankly, I wouldn't have known the difference to be honest! Some of the people they have playing Capt Jack are very convincing. Especially the one I saw at MNSSHP last year!

No details...apparently Johnny Depp is just making surprise appearances, it's super secret and even the CMs don't know when he'll show up. He's playing Capt Jack in the parade. Capt Jack always appears in the parade and it's a really good one (looks exactly like the real deal) so I don't really get how you are supposed to know when it's really him!

Here is the one from last year

He also appears outside of the POTC ride near the pirate tutorial. I am not sure where this is as we missed it. I had been told that he was in Friday's parade by another park guest and they said to keep an eye out for him since he might still be in town. I could tell it was him by his hands. The hands were not those of a 20 year old kid playing Capt. Jack! I just wish I had taken a better picture. I am hoping Corrine has a better one. We met up with her family and we did the MNSSHP together. It was so much fun! pirate:

That makes me think of an elephant going after Nidra at the circus. she had just turned three, and my sister and BIL took her to the circus. They had front row tickets. When the elephants paraded by, one of them took a liking to my daughter. It took its trunk and touched her up and down the front of her body! Nidra nearly scrambled up my sister's leg trying to get away!

I made it home safe and sound....between the clowns and the October snow, it was a little dicey :rotfl2:

We had box seats (my friend works for NESN so he got them through work). We had personal clowns doing facepainting and balloon art plus popcorn, cupcakes and drinks to our heart's content....all for free! What a deal!!! Didn't have to blow any of my Disney spending money!

I need a Miss Stacy checklist with all of those things already checked for me. We leave in 12 days and I have nothing made yet! :scared1: This darn moving thing when put on top of life is leaving no time for my two loves - WDW trip planning and posting on the DIS boards. I can't wait to see all of the outfits - I am sure they are amazing!

You know. . . it just isn't right that we will miss you guys by a few days at WDW and that Aisling thinks she is coming to Hershey which is 20 minutes from my house.

92 days :banana::banana::banana:

Betcha thought I was going to say 8 didn't you?!??!

Nope...92!

TOMORROW!!!!!! Ahhh, you just have to make it through tonight! Can you get Ash a craft project so she is distracted (as a birthday gift that you give her and let her play with right away!) and doesn't hear meany spill it if she does?

Thanks all! Glad everyone enjoyed my deer! They were quite cute running around playing with each other. They were like little kids!

I'm hoping that Aisling has sufficiently exhausted herself so I won't need to worry about it tonight. She got up at 3:30 this morning and proclaimed that she was too excited to sleep! HUH????? :scared1: Needless to say, I panicked thinking she knew some how. But she was talking about her birthday cake tonight ;) :rotfl: She didn't fall back to sleep until after 5am. Obviously I didn't because then I was too excited to sleep :rolleyes1 I did watch Slumdog Millionaire. Now I'm paying for it...I'm dragging! Only 3 more hours of work

Jen- heading over with advise!

A boarding group is AWESOME! I paid the extra for the automatic check in for January, only because I didn't want to have to worry about checking myself in for the flight while in Disney.

So I ended up with a mirgraine at the end of the day today. :headache: I'll spare you the details but lets just say that I'm pretty certain that I don't need to worry about my calorie intake today. :rolleyes1

Poor Aisling....tonight was her bday cake/presents with the grandparents, Randy's sister, and Randy's grandmother, plus a couple of cousins and I was miserable. And because of the migraine, I couldn't see right with my camera. I should have just put the flash on and took regular point and shoot pictures...instead I kept shooting, thinking things looked "ok" and then ended up crazy. Like this...

Or this gem...(apparently, I thought the focus was the junk food on the table ;):rotfl2:)

So sorry to hear about your migraine! You goofball - you can still take good pictures with that camera if you let it do the work. Oh well, you will have millions of amazing pictures of the real celebration in WDW!

Have an amazing trip and I can't wait to hear all about it!!!!

Hi all!

I'm back!!!! (and very exhausted today- why did I think it was a good idea to go to work????)

I would love to know why I have a Bay Lake Tower pic on my countdown! No, I didn't buy into DVC :rotfl: I need to go fix that!

I'm still working downloading all the pics. I did my PP edits and that is it so far. I have over a 1000 regular pics that need to be sorted out.

We had a great trip. It was extremely hot...record highs most days. BUT we didn't get a DROP of rain the whole week  Aisling was extremely surprised. The video has been downloaded onto my home computer. I need to upload it to YouTube and then I will post it. I will warn you...it's long. Randy taped the whole surprise AND her opening her gifts from Tink. I don't know if I even have editing software for videos on my computer. Sooo, it won't be edited.

After the video, we quickly got her changed and had to listen to her saying "I'm so excited" over and over and over until we got to Florida! Overall, she did okay during the week. She had a few mini-meltdowns. Again, this goes back to my theory about not surprising kids with trips to WDW. I had assumed that it was just a bad idea to surprise kids who have never been since they didn't have time to get used to the idea and plan along. But even with kids who have been to WDW many times, they can get really overwhelmed with the surprise and sometimes have a hard time calming down. Also, as I feared, Aisling had very specific ideas about what she wanted to do and when and they didn't necessarily go along with the plans that we had made....so I will warn you...my plans went right out the window a couple of times. :rolleyes1

I already commented on Facebook but I have to repeat my favorite line is Randy's comment "You can never have too many glowsticks." :rotfl2: That just made me laugh out loud.

Aisling looks happy yet confused. I bet it's overwhelming to be surprised like that.

I'm sorry for you that you are back. I always hate the end of vacations-especially disney ones. But I'm looking forward to hearing about it.

It's really neat to hear to your voice on the video.

My DD9 was watching along with me and she kept saying "There's another gift in there? You never gave us that much when we went to Disney MOM". She was seriously wishing she was your daughter at that moment.

That was really fun to watch! I love that Tink left the gifts! Why do boys have to be no fun! Aisling looks like she would be so much fun to see at Disney!

I'll have to show Dallas in the morning. What a nice surprise to see her pull out the pin he sent! I love the Zero outfit! Great job Stacy!! I can't wait to see more!

Glad everyone liked the video. Yes, Tink went a little overboard as she does every year! It's mostly stuff to keep her occupied on the plane! As you can see...Aisling gets more excited over the little things in the life more than the grand scheme of a trip to WDW! But that should serve her well in life ;)

I love it!! Aisling is so adorable!! I love seeing her in action! She seems like such a little sweetheart! She reacted in the same way Tessa would. She'd be overwhelmed by the news and then excited about the little gifts.

"You can never have too many glow sticks." Now that's a good guy! LOL!

Awww...she wants to keep the pin from Dallas. How sweet!

Thanks for posting the video! Sawyer and I had a great time watching it! He was most impressed by the squished pennies because he has that same little book to keep them in.

I'm so sappy...I was crying.
