I was really nervous but my interviewer sounded really nice and that calmed me down a little most of the interview is just them going over whats on your application and telling you about the disney look and everything. The best tip that I saw was on the disney wdwcp website where they said to smile because that shows in your voice when you answer the questions. They also said to take your time and think a little if you need to before you answer. The questions arnt difficult they asked me about the roles I had chosen, work experience (I have none lol) and for the roles that I was particulaly interested in they asked me questions about a senario that may happen if i were to get that role! hope that helps!

Just be yourself. Relax before hand. It truly is not that bad. If you have never done an interview before than I would recommend checking out some websites with interviewing tips but for the most part be honest and natural. You just have to work through the nervousness and use it to your advantage. I am a communications major and am currently taking a Speech Fundamentals course. So, I have a bit of experience with this. I hope everything works out for her. Good Luck!:thumbsup2

I work in Human Resources and frequently sit in on interview panels. The key is to relax. It is okay to pause and think about a question before answering.
My son applied for the Fall CP last month and was accepted. The weekend before his interview we spent a couple of hours practicing interview questions since this was his first job interview. Do a web search for "Disney interview questions." We came across a variety of questions, a couple of which were asked during his interview. It helped him a lot to have that practice and to know the type of questions that could be asked during his interview.
Good luck to her!

Mine was this morning - I really really hope it well. I feel like it did. I was very positive and upbeat and happy, (which is me being me) but hopefully not annoying. My interviewer tried to get me to put Merchandise because I have 10 months of retail experience at Kohl's, but I knew that if I put that then I would get Merchandise and I really didn't want to do more retail. She told me several times that this is a really competitive year and there's more applicants than ever - I hope she wasn't trying to let me down gently! I feel like I have all the right qualifications and a good gpa and everything...
Gahhhh I just need to find out NOW!!!

i know exactly what you mean... i had my interview yesterday afternoon. however, i did check merchandise (bc i have worked at american eagle since last summer and i love retail!) and she didnt ask any questions about any other roles that i had expressed interest in. She just asked merch questions and focused on my work experience at AE.
I was a little worried about that, but maybe its a good thing... i dunno... i just wish that i could find out like NOW!!

What roles did you apply for?
do you think that it might be bad that i only got asked about merchandise though?!
when she went through my role checklist, she said "and of course merchandise"

The interview is no different than filling out an application, just relax, SMILE (they can tell) and just be cheerful!:cheer2:

yea its really what you put into it... if you put effort into enjoying what you are doing then you will have fun, but if you go into it with the mind set that this isn't what I wanted then you pry won't enjoy it much..
