Has parking changed at RP??

We are staying one night at RP Easter week. The last time we were there, it looked like they were installing a gate near the self parking?? Does anyone know what the new policy is?

When you enter the self parking it will give you a paper ticket to park. After you check in and tell them you have a car you can throw the ticket away. Then when you leave the parking lot you have to use your room key. I guess they did this to keep track of the parking since I think it was easy to defeat.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the reply. I thought that they were going to do something like that when I saw the ticket machines near the self park at Christmas. I'm surprised they haven't done it sooner. We have stayed there many times when you come back late and its difficult to self park. Maybe this will help the problem.

I heard at RPR that sometimes it is hard to find a spot to park, I am assuming in the evenings. Is this still a problem with this new set up?
