Well, now that sounds colorful. Have you actually been? I too was wondering if we should venture over there.

Yup - I cruised on Norwegian with MIL and a few of her friends this past Dec. While the others stayed onboard MIL and I went to Carlos n Charlies for a drink. At 4pm there were girls dancing and their "girls" were not in their shirts.
A friend went while they cruised on Carnival this past April and while it was still a party scene they said it wasnt like what MIL and I encountered.

When we went it was actually pretty calm. There was the music and people were dancing on the tables, but nothing atrocious. Just beware when accepting the shots that they carry around ...That is all I will tell you.

I've been several times and I've never seen people nude or topless. It is just a bar/resturant and they play a lot of fun music and really encourage the crowd to dance. The waiters will dance with the ladies and they have beer chugging contests etc. I can't imagine that it would be that wild in the afternoon. When I went there for lunch it was pretty dead. It certaintly would not be the type of place to take kids late at night, but I would take my kids there for lunch.

When they ask you if you want the large or small margarita, take the small! Carlos & Charlie's is a fun place and it can get a little wild (especially after the large margarita!) Everytime we go to Cozumel, I have to stop there.

Sounds fun. Will we be within walking distance? Anyone know how close C & C is?

Where the boat docks, Carlo's is right there! Talk about wild. My husband and I went on our May 25th cruise with twiceasnice and husband. Maybe I am getting old (I am 36), but it wasn't my cup of tea. Drunk people dancing (I guess that is what you call what they were doing, grinding on each other)to music that is way too loud. I guess if you were younger it would be o.k. Now we were there about 7:00, I can't imagine what it would be like at 11:00. When I saw someone dancing and drinking from a tequila bottle, we decided to go. To each his own.
