can anyone tell me about the parking at port canaveral? has anyone ever left their car there for the week? do you think it is safe? thanks for any help.

YES, THEY MONITOR THE PARKING LOTS 24 HOURS A DAY

I parked my car at the port on each of my four DCL cruises with the last one being a week while I was on the Magic. I haven't had a problem at all. In all honesty, I have read that a couple people have had problems, but none recently.

There have also been sporadic problems with cars that have been left at the Radisson with their 'stay here, park here' plan too.

Since 9/11, the Port has increased their security considerably.
