Sunshine Rewards...Disney Dollars

I have been doing Sunshine Rewards for a while and was able to cash out for our upcoming trip. I chose Disney Dollars because I had alittle over 65 credits on my account. I could have gotten a $50 gift card or 2 sets of $30 Disney Dollars. I was hesitant to redeem the Disney Dollars due to the fact that are non-replaceable. However, I really wanted to give my kids $20 and let them buy something with Disney money and I hated leaving alittle over 10 credits in my account when I could use them now. I redeemed my Disney Dollars on Feb. 24th. The notice I got when I redeemed them said that I should expect them in 2-4 weeks. It has been 3 weeks and I am now starting to get nervous. How long did it take for your rewards to arrive?

I wouldn't panic until you hit 6 weeks.

Yes...the wording should have been, at that time, 4-6 weeks for them.

In the future, you could also cash out for paypal (though not all credits can be used for paypal based on what the offer was). Cash out at the end of a month and get the payment on the last day of the following month (or the business day following that, if it's not a business day), then move it to your checking account. That's what I did for some spending money for a disneyland trip. :)

Then when you get to disney, you can buy the Dollars.

Just wondering if OP has gotten their Disney Dollars. I cashed out about the same time and still have yet to receive them. This is the longest I have ever waited for a cashout. :confused3:confused3:sad2:

All cashouts from Feb 20 through Mar 12 were sent yesterday. Our Disney Store was out of Disney Dollars for almost two months. :( I was about ready to just get them from Disneyworld myself on my vacation next week! But they did come in early this week and we got them all out.

I wonder if they've been lowering stock all over. My local store was out for almost 3 weeks now. They've never been out before, it was strange! Mine is almost an hour away, so now I call first. As of two days ago, still nothing in but "should be next week".

I like to have the $5 on hand...perfect for two snacks!! :mickeybar

I know I could use real money, it is just more fun this way..
