So I made some t-shirts for y 2 sons, my husband and myself. I prewashed all of them and all of the guys shirts turned out amazing, mine, though, were messed up. All of the white portions of the decal turned pink...what did I do wrong??????

I did this myself with black shirts. Your iron was to hot and it melted the "iron material" to far into the shirt. Mine was bad. I wish I would have taken a picture to show everyone what happened. You could not even make out the characters I had on the iron on.
I reprinted the iron ons and reironed them over the other one after turning the iron down a little. It came out OK. I can still see a difference (being the perfectionist that I am) but no one else can tell.

That happened to one of mine too. I was so disappointed. But I fixed it. I went to office depot and bougt ultra fine tip sharpie markers and just colored it in. Looks great now. No one will know but me. I just hope it holds up for the one day we plan to wear it.

they make sharpies with white ink???
I did another set of shirts last night...these were navy. Well, AGAIN, all of the 3 boys' shirts turned out fine, but with mine the color bled through!!! With this design it is much less noticeable because there isn't too muc white, but still...:sad2: I'm so disappointed!!! :sad1:

Are you using a different kind of shirt than the boys? They do make white fabric markers that you could try to use.

same brand, but I guess it is possible the men's and women's shirts are different. I'll have to check!

The white part was actually OK. It was the colored parts. They just looked like they had faded into the fabric somehow. After I colored it with the sharpie, the few faded spots on the white are not even noticable.
