Question for all you Southwest experts

Does anyone know how often Southwest offers their Friends Fly Free program? I have a credit from their last offer in April and would love to use it.

However, with the cost of everything, we really can't afford to go that often. But ............. if most of the airfare was paid for.............and I use my rewards money for hotels or tickets............... then :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We're going in October and were able to take advantage of the friends fly free program.:Pinkbounc I think it's available through the end of October. Good luck.

I was just on the Southwest Airlines site searching (in vain) for the Friends Fly Free program, as we are going in October, and that would be a WONDERFUL way to save a little money! If anyone knows where I can find the information, I would greatly appreciate it!

From what I know, the Friends Fly Free promotion is not offered all of the time. Every so often, SW offers this promotion. The last one just expired - I think 5/23 for flights thru Oct ??.

I get their email notices and when any promotion is running it is mentioned in the newsletter.

So, it is just a matter of watching their site. I would sign up for their emails so you wll get a head's up.

I believe the current Friends Fly Free promo is over, however SWA has some great rates right now through 10/22.

Friends fly free for us came out to $500.00 rt for two tickets, but at least one of the two had to be 18 yrs old. Also you had to have an even number to take full advantage. The price for Friends fly free for my family of 7 was

DH - 250.00
DD - 250.00
DW - 250.00
DS - 250.00
DS - 500.00
DS - 500.00
DS - 500.00
Total of 2500.00

With SWA newest sale I got the same tickets for $1386, $198 rt for all 7 of us.

Check out bestfares.com - put in the departure and arrival cities under their quick fare system and it will give you an idea of who has the best rates out there right now.

Does anyone know how far out SW posts their flights? I am going to WDW in Dec. and have available credit, but want to book asap because it is close to Christmas. I check their site daily and it is still up through Oct. 25. Thanks.
