Creative Memories Round-Tip Pens?

Anyone know why Creative Memories Round-Tip pens have been discontinued? Are they coming out with new pens?

I don't know if they are planning on introducing new pens, nothing has been said yet. I would love to have the bold tips reintroduced too. LOVE those!!!:lovestruc

What do you use them for? I've got a bunch (not CM) and they've laid in the tray for a decade.

Well, when I actually scrapped, I used them to journal, but I haven't scrapped in about 3 years. I finally went to a CM crop a couple of weeks ago and was looking online at their products today and noticed that all they carry now are the fine-tip pens.

I agree about the Bold-tip pens. I loved those too. I used to address my Christmas cards with those pens. I think the reason CM stopped selling those is because Sakura (company that made the pens) stopped producing the Bold (caligraphy) tip pens.

I love the bold tip for writing cards. Gives a nice calligraphy look. The fine tips I use for journaling, the round tip I use for doodles on a layouts.

I used to be a CM consultant...I was soooo sad when they did away with the Bold tip pen... I have the round, but only very rarely use them. Although if you write with 'dots' on the ends of your letters...sometimes I use the round one for my dotting:rotfl2:

I did hear a little rumor today that CM is coming out with a scallop maker soon. :goodvibes

Yes, you did! I think that it's coming out in the July/August campaign, but If you're a CMC you can get it in two months early if you sign up for NPI (you'll get one) or NPI+ (you'll get two!) shipment by April 6.

I'm SOOOO excited about this!
