We really like Coronado Springs!

Hi all,

Just back from a quick 3 day trip to Disney and our first stay at Coronado Springs. We really liked this resort!

Of the three Disney resorts we've stayed at, CS is our favorite by far! If CS was on the Boardwalk, We'd never stay anywhere else.

We REALLY like it too.

I've been debating all day whether I should move my ressies from CSR to PO in order to save about $15 night (have a code rate not available at CSR). We like trying new resorts, but all of the mixed reviews on PO lately are making me think I should be 'safe not sorry' and go where I know we'll like it.

We have stayed at CSR 3 times and simply love it. I feel like we should try somewhere else but we have been hooked.
From the pool to the gift shop to the benches (or hammocks whichever you perfer) around the lake at night (talk about Disney romantic), I can't think of anything bad.

Yeah, I've been kinda surprised at some previous negative postings about CSR--too sprawling, too much "desert", too confusing a food court. We stayed there in early '01 and liked it a lot. The grounds are beautiful, including the desert aspects (it's called theming, folks), transport was excellent, we never had to walk more than 5-10 minutes anywhere, and while the restaurant isn't a "traditional" food court, it's really good! Have fun!
