I'm helping a friend plan a trip for her and her brother. (mid 40's and will need ECV or wheelchair.) If they stay at a disney resort what is the WDW tranportation available to get them to the parks? Thank you

They can ride on whatever transportation the hotel has. If it's a monorail hotel they can take the monorail, if the only transportation is bus almost all the buses have lifts and if the hotel has boat transporation if the water level is high enough they can use the boat.

I'm writing to agree with the others.
Here's a link that explains what Michigan wrote about water levels (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=206952) for the boats.
For the monorail resorts, the monorail station at the resort is fine for getting on and off, but at MK and the TTC, there is a steep ramp to get up to and down from the boarding platform. By steep, I mean, the ramp takes you up one whole floor.
The buses have room to hold 2 wheelchairs or ecvs and have a tie down system to hold the wheelchair/ecv in place during the trip.
:bounce: Hi, Wheelsie. Good to see you (and Michigan too, but I saw you more recently).
