I heard from MS that you can go to the DVC office at SSR to get a new one. Might want to verify that with MS before you go! :)

I used my temporary card to get my AP's, my official "blue card" showed up the day after we came home from our trip.

I've had to get mine replaced several times. It took about 3-4 weeks each time to receive after I called MS to request it.

We got ours at the DVC office at SSR. Took about 5 minutes.

Just curious, is there a cost for the replacement. Mine is in perfect condition, but DH decided to go into the pool with his DVC member card in his pocket and we found out very quickly that it is paper coated between plastic. It dried a little crooked :rotfl:

Nope, no charge for replacements.

Here's a question - when becoming a DVC member through resale, do you automatically get a Membership Card or do you need to order one? Thanks.

You automatically get it, but it takes months. You can get a temporary one while at WDW. Of course, your membership will show up on your room key as well. (I think you will need either a temporary card or the permanent card to get the AP discount.)

You can now get a permanent card at the DVC center at SSR now. Just stop in there and get the card.
