3 pirates and a princess Trip report Day 2

DAY 2

We woke up ridiculously early 5am! Today was the day we had breakfast booked with the princess in cinderellas castle - in my wisdom though I had booked it for 10am :confused3

We all had some brekkie and leisurely got dressed we arrived at Magic Kingdom at just after 8am. We visited the will call window for our tickets and the cm gave Keira a badge that said 1st visit she was so impressed. Then we walked through to the area where you chosse the monorail or the boat.
After a bit of umming and ahhhing we decided to take the boat - the weather forecast was for really bad storm today and I wanted to get there quick hubby wanted to show keira cinderellas castle from the boat.
Well we made the right choice when she saw the castle she held her head and shouted "I dont believe it Cinderellas Castle " Then she just stared at it for ages.

The weather was getting really windy now and we had missed the opening ceremony by seconds - gutted!! Magic Kingdom was empty and we slowly took in all the atmosphere. A show was scheduled to start in front of cinderellas castle so we went and stood there for a bit a cm was blowing bubbles which amused my kids for ages :yay:

Eventually there was an announcement that the show was not going to happen because of the weather!
We decided to go round to crt to wait the remaining 15 mins under shelter and hopefully a bit warmer :rotfl:

The castle is fantastic and the princesses spent ages with Keira. The boys were not so impressed and the faces on them is just hysterical. I made the mistake of asking cameron if he was having fun - if looks could kill :rotfl2:

When we had finished eating we opened the door to find that the storm was here !! Oh my god it was spalshing bk up from the pavement !
The cms in their wisdom had moved our pushchair from under the shelter to outside even though it had been left covered when moving it they had dislodged the raincover and the pushchair was saturated - that was when we decided the best place to be was back at the villa in the games room so home we went.
Princesses of the family had huge smiles the pirates however wanted to know when the fun started :rotfl2:

What a lovely treat for your daughter, hope she treasures it in the years to come! Well done on your boys going along with it, I can imagine the faces on mine if ever I were to propose a 'princess' meal!! But then I have no girls so no excuse really!!

You are never too old for the princesses I loved it !!
camerons biggest problem was he didnt understand why he couldnt just wait outside :confused3 Princesses were for girls he was a boy so why was I making him do this ?? Thing is its very difficult to come up with a reasonable explanation so he sat in a grump for the whole time - Fantastic !!

Fast forward a dozen years and you won't have nearly the trouble getting the boys to appreciate the Princesses! Nothing wrong with Kiera having her special day. I'm sure the boys' turn at having a good time will come.

We were in the castle for around 1 1/2 hours including the 15 mins we waited for a pic with cinderella. I felt it was worth the money even with the stroppy boys !!
