I am hoping some of you will be able to help me...


I saw a fabulous photo of the WDW sign that hangs over the road. It looked like the person took the photo from the side of the road. It was clearly not taken from the car.

Can this sign be seen from any of the resorts? Can you walk up to it? Is there anywhere to pull over on the side of the road to get a photo of it? Thanks!

Mine didn't come out quite so fabulous, but I actually took it while the car was moving... :drive:

Can't see it from the resorts, but if you're quick (and there isn't much traffic) you should be able to pull over quick.

On the Pop Century thread, someone had posted that they could see the sign from the hotel wing...can't recall which section though:)

Mine was also taken while driving, don't know if you can see it from a resort though.

There is a sign when you enter the DTD hotel area from Apopka-Vineland Rd. If you park across the streat in the Crossroads shopping center you can get a pretty good shot, and if I remember correctly you can get a shot without the stop lights in it.

I get teary eyed everytime we pass under that wonderful sign. Happy, excited tears by the way. I am just so thankful when we get to take the kids back. I thought we'd only be able to take all of them once, but I was lucky enough to get discount codes to take them back. This year-not so lucky!

There's also a sign at the entrance coming off the turnpike. I think it's 529maybe 429. Hardly any traffic at all and easy to pull over. If you're driving to Animal Kingdom as soon as you pass Saratoga Springs there is a road to the right at a stop light. You go a little ways down and you'll see the sign. After you go under the sign there is a place to turn around then pull over and get some cool pics.
