Are there any discounts week of 8/16-23 that you're aware of?

Hi. We are checking in August 16 on a AAA discount at SSR. Seems to me that the pins and FD offers that are out there don't include that week, plus 4/3 expires 8/15. Maybe it will be VERY empty that week? :thumbsup2 That's what I'm hoping. What do you think?

I haven't seen any public offers for those dates as of yet but there has been some talk that the new late summer/fall offers *may* be released on or around April 1st.

Also even though there aren't public offers there are people who most likely have gotten PIN codes for those dates.

The Free Dining pin does include that date. We are booked for 2 rooms at Pop for Aug. 16-22. We got that pin a couple of months ago and decided to book it. We also got the 40% room pin too, but that week was NOT included in that promotion. I think the August date is the 23rd for the 40% pin discount.

I believe I read on the touring plans site than attendance does drop off at mid-August as kids go back to school. By the way, if you could change your check-in to the 15th, isn't there a chance you could get the 4/3 deal if you want a better discount?

I tried to does the 4/3 deal for the same reason. No luck. It won't carry over after the 15th. I was told when I called that the vacation had to end by the 15th. But I am still holding out for something.......
