Layout Challenge #15: Winner is Calanniebu!!!!

We haven't seen PrincessKell around as of late..Here is hoping that she is just busy and not sick (nor the family)... So, I decided to go ahead and start a new challenge...

The idea for this challenge is to use as much of this template as you can.. You can tweak it how you see fit...utilize another size photo..but this time I'd like you to stick to just one good size photo!!! This can be disney or non-disney!! Whatever motivates you!!! :)

ETA: This will run from March 16 - March 31st. One of my little ones will pick a name after dinner on the 31st!

I took the photos that will be printed for them tonight too!!! My photos are all 5x7. The green ban across the clovers/flowes says "I AM IRISH"...

If you hit the link and search their archives they have a lot of 2 page spreads.. I bet you could tweak one of them and make it work with this page.. this was a solo page...


I've got to find one for my DD's race... I have sequential (sp) photos of her running in her race last night...and I have an awesome set of shots of her running hurdles last year...from before the hurdle, the ease of the hurdle jump, and the landing after the hurdle... I won't let her run hurdles this year because she doesn't have the best form and they have no coach that specializes to teach proper form..and the risk of energy is too high...

I know! I figure that is why Brooke has been sick. if not that is definitely Big D's excuse! Poor guy!!! :)

I believe UConn plays PU in the mens conference... Yup @ 7:07! I like UConn but I'm going w/ the upset for PU... only because one of their future players is a boy my DD goes to school w/ and we are friends with!!! I don't own any PU clothing but will in a year when this little guy (almost 7') attends PU!!

UConn's women play CA... PU women play Rutgers... those both should be very good games!!!

Today they are practicing in Indy for the Midwest Men's bracket... that includes Kansas Jayhawks, Louisville, ??, ?? (not sure who else off the top of my head)... I wish I could get down there..its FREE but they don't start practices till the kids are getting home from school!!!:headache:

I was sorry to see BSU lose the other night too. They always seem like such an underdog!

By the way, I was going to ask you to not include me in the drawing since I'll be out of town from 3-30 to 4-3 with no computer but I'm afraid I'll win by default. Anyway, if others enter, please leave me out of the drawing. If it's winner by default, I promise I'll be back on by 4-4.

Thanks. Yes, I'm going to an education conference but added several days of personal time. The conference organizers are doing something really cool for us - they arranged a dessert/illuminations at Epcot Italy for the participants. I'm really excited about that too!

My co-worker has never been to wdw so this will really be fun. It's so great to go with a newbie!

This is before we got the igloo dog house. They shared a crate when sleeping at night, but during the day they like to be separate. Now they have the crate & igloo and no more box. :teeth: That is my other son sharing the bed.

Yes the background paper is embossed. It's from the Making Memories Chloe's Closet Line that Michael's has. I believe it's an Michael's exclusive.

Well, since I was home today and had some scrapping time, I decided to make a final effort and get in on this challenge!

Here is my contribution. I did manage to make a quick second page to go with this. I spent/wasted LOTS of time going through all of my "school" related papers (since this is a 1st day of school page), but NOTHING seemed to work with the photos. So I ended up using a DCWV floral and stripe. I am fairly happy with the overall layout. I had a "school" shape to put down in that lower right corner (where the hearts are in the sketch), but I used a rub-on on the first one and it smudged! (Reminder to self... don't buy ki memories rub-ons again!). I used the second school shape I had and I misplaced the rub-on and I ruined it! So no school related shape for me!:headache:

Thanks for noticing. I just use my regular sewing machine. It is an old, cheap Brother I bought in 1990. I can't believe how it has held up! I've sewn curtains, clothes, lots of Halloween costumes, and some scrapbook pages! I have to be careful to not oversew too many areas, because it becomes like perforated paper and wants to tear. Sometimes if I an concerned about that I glue a solid piece behind it (after I sew it)to strength it.

Now that I can see your picture on another post, I have to ask about the picture. I am rather clown phobic and my #1 most hated/feared clown is Ronald McDonald. (I actually had nightmares about him when I was a kid.) Just wondering where you saw him. Was it somewhere in WDW? If so, I will have to avoid that area on our next visit!...................P

Pjlla, don't worry, Ronald isn't at WDW. My daughter competes in Special Olympics. McDonald's sponsors the lunch for the atheletes. As she was walking out of the building, Ronald was coming for a visit. She had a one on one with him. You can tell she was impressed. NOT. :laughing:
