We have a garden view room and have never been there. I want to be semi close to the monorail and not too far from the main pool. I don't mind a small walk. Oh, we also need non-smoking. What building should I request?

From reading the boards we chose to request Tokelau. It seems like it's right in the middle of everything. Close to the pool, not too far from the monorail and the Great Ceremonial House. Actually having walked around the resort, while visiting for dinner, most of the buildings don't have a long walk.

When are you going in August? We are doing the same two resorts from August 18 to the 25th.

Even if you stayed at one end of the resort, it would only be about a 5 minute walk to the other end. I have heard Tokelau can be louder as it is right near the pool. I have heard the Aotorea (sp.?) is very near GCH and has wonderful garden and monorail views. The only place I wouldn't suggest is Rapa Nui because one side does face the parking lot.

We will be at Poly the second week of July. When we first decided to stay at the Poly I asked for opinions on where to stay. We stayed at Tokelau last time and loved it. But there was couple of people who said the Fiji building is a little known secret. They said you have a view of either the Marina or the Lagoon at garden view rates so we decided to try that this year. Will let you know how it is.:D

I would say Tokelau we stayed there last year when we went and are going to ask for that building again this year when we go down in Aug.
Short walk to main pool, GCH, Monorail, and TTC and the Quiet Pool and arcade is rite next to the building.
