I know someone already asked this question yesterday, but got no response. Can anyone give us a report on Port Orleans French Quarter since its reopening on May 31? We are waiting to here. Any Dis'ers there right now? Spill the beans!

the French quarter is the old Dixing Ladings, I think that is right. It will always be DL to me and as far as the resort it is gorgeous, the pool is great for the kids, the food court is real nice. I have stayed there a few times and loved it, just got spoiled with concierge and the deluxe hotels. You will not be making a mistake staying there, it is truely a magical place. P.S. the only thing that stinks to get to the place to refill the refillable mugs can be a walk. I used to get in the car, drive there get the drinks and go back to the room. have a nice vacation

French Quarter is the old Port Orleans. Dixie Landings is now called Port Orleans Riverside.

Christian - I did a review yesterday of my 1-night stay at POFQ. You should be able to find it easily. :)

We left POR yesterday morning.
I don't know a lot to post about FQ. Looked nice from the boat. ;)
We were told more than once that everything standing still was painted. So it should be clean and ready to go.
Our bus service at POR last week was the pits.:p I hope the guests at POR and FQ have better service and LOTS more buses to serve them.
Buses were few and far between last week at POR the way it was. DH and I were glad we were leaving POR when we did.
