You know Claire has only seen a small portion of Pop because she is usually sleeping when I take my walks around the place. someday I need to get pictures of her in the other areas. LOL!

You were on my mind today :goodvibesbecause today is the day for the tractor pull in Floresville. My brother is actually there because he is cooking in a BBQ cook-off associated with the event. We missed it though because my kids promised my other brother they would be on his chihuahua racing team - :lmao: So we spent the day in Seguin at the "Running with the Big Dogs - Chihuahua race" Maya (myDSIL's chihuahua) didn't even leave the starting gate :rotfl2: :rotfl2: If I get the pics downloaded tomorrow I'll send them

Post them here. That would be so funny.
I'm missing the pulling season already. Teh first big one is in 2 weeks, but Dh decided this year to only go to local ones...or so he says at this point, so we probably won't be at any till late July or early Aug.
Last year we went to one in Tomah Wisconsin (we've gone that that one many times) and I took a day and drove Claire and I over to the Mall of America about 2 1/2 hours away. It was such a fun day. We met up with a girl I talk to online on a parenting board who lives near there and we just had so much fun walking around and talking. and shopping too. then after she went home, I took Clair to Libby Lu and she got a makeover, which she just LOVED! And we ate at Rainforest Cafe...which I had never been to one before.. and that was neat too. Claire slept the whole way bacvk to our hotel, but was wide awake when we went in the room and couldn;t wait to show Skip how BEAUTIFUL she was. She picked pink hair for that one too. LOL! :rolleyes1

They have unusual names because. There were always at least 3 Karen's in my classes growing up - all the way through highschool and I hated it. So I wanted them to have a name no one else would have. I am a huge admirer of the native american culture and tried to draw from there.
The problem is - no one can tell their sex by their name and that sometime causes problems. So in trying to save them from one problem, I created another:laughing: Live and learn

I understand that. I was one of about 7 Jennifers in my class and I think we had that many Heathers too. And several Kathys.

Claire and her pink hair! Be glad that you have a girly-girl though 'cause my daughter never wanted any bows in her hair, bows on her clothes and she still refuses to wear pink at the age of 22.
I absolutely love your most recent pictures. They are so pretty and clear.
meanmom: I, too, really like the fact that your children have unusual names. My name is Lisa. My husband's name is John. The grandfathers' names were Charles and Billy. Grandmothers' are Dorothy and Edna. There was no way in the world that I was naming my kids after any of us/them So, we named our children Lacey and Hunter. When we named them, we knew no other Laceys or Hunters. Now they are common names.:headache:

Thanks.
My oldest is Michael, one of the most common names, but his dad just wouldn't agree with ANYTHING. Paige was my favorite girl name ever and I couldn't wait to have one, so that was it, and I didn;t care what anyone said. I didn't know any Paige's till I named her it then I started hearing it all over.
Same with Claire. I loved the name and didn't know of any young girls with the name, and now I hear it alot. In fact in 2007 when were at Disney I think we saw about 4 other little girls named Claire too.

Mickeystoontown -- I love Lacey and Hunter  - too bad for all those darn copycats who couldn't come up with unique names of their own:sad2:
And I know what you mean by family names - these are a few of my uncles and grandparents name I had to choose from - Elroy, Hugo, Hubert, Daisy :lmao: I wasn't going there.
Jen, I know what ya mean about Michael's dad not giving in on the name - I originally wanted Scout's name to be either Sterling Hawk or Maverick Cade. Let me just tell you we almost got divorced over naming him before we agreed on Scout:rotfl2:. When Grey came along I told Kevin we had to use his last name (Geisel)every time so that was all he was going to get to contribute this time:lmao:
Love the pics of the flowers, the colors are so vibrant. And that Claire is becoming quite the model:rotfl: And a right ghood job she does of it.

YAY!
We went and saw Up today. It was very good, but I have no idea what Claire's problem is, but she pretty much cried through most of it and not just a small cry but loud sobs. thank goodness only 2 other families were in there and one had a loud child and the other kept getting up and getting snack, seriously like 5 or 6 times.
She was scared, but it really isn't scary at all, and the nshe would sob when she was happy about something too. I take her to movies all the time and she has never acted like this before. I don;t know if she was tired or what. We took her friend with us and she didn;t seem to have a problem at all.
Looks like when I go see Harry Potter this summer Claire is getting a sitter so I can enjoy it without crying.

I have been reading your report all this week. I have really enjoyed it. We will be going in Sept. for free dining. We will be staying at the PORS. I am so ready! we will be going this time with another family. I'm not too sure about how I'm going to deal with that. I'm use to planning our whole trip for us. They want us to do everything together. I am scared that is going to be too much together time. Our family is just me, hubby and DS10 and DS22. Ds22 won't be going for the 1st time on our family vacation. The other family will be the mom,the dad ds11 and ds6. I guess I sound a little selfish huh? Any way I'm a picture freak also and they are not. Your pictures are great. I'm on to your food report now.

I don't think I would want to do everything together either. It's hard, especially if you don't have the same touring styles.
If I were you I would make up an itinerary of what you guys plan to do and tell them theses are your plans, and they are welcome to join, but also if they can;t make or do all of it you can just meet up at the meal or something. I really t hink it would benefit you both if you do actually plan time away from each other though.

I've been doing some thinking about the next trip we do, whenever that may be.... LOL!
Claire wants to go now of course. We were looking at pictures on other reports the other day and Onetreehilladdict has pictures of the pony rides. Claire is now obssessed with this. So I am thinking that on the next trip we will try to take one day with no parks and do the pony rides at Fort Wilderness and maybe the sing along at night. Also I've always wanted to hit the boardwalk and try Beaches and Cream. Do they take the dining plan at all for icecream? (I know for sure not the kitchen sink)
And also maybe a day at Universal or two. That would make it a bit different and make DH a little more happy to change it up a bit. Of course we only will have like 5 or 6 days most likely, so that means missing some Disney parks. But we'll manage, (I guess. LOL!)
No trips are planned at this point anyways.
So now for more pictures.

Beautiful pictures, Jen. When we first started going to Disney, we had just six days to do parks and on two of those days we went to Universal Studios and Sea World. After two years of doing that, we started to concentrate on just Disney. Then, after another year, we started adding more days to our vacation until we eventually moved up to nine days in Disney.
We like to take at least one "down day". On this day, we either sleep in and then do something like resort hop, shop at Downtown Disney or rent watercraft. Or, we'll get up like usual, do some of those things and then come back to the resort for a rest. On our other non-park day, we usually hit a water park and then have the afternoon to do whatever. It really does help the morale of our group to get that extra bit of sleep and relaxation.
Because we are staying at Pop this year, we are taking the extra money we saved and are going to see Cirque de Soliel and we'll still have a little extra. I thought about the horseback riding too. Hunter's only been on a pony a long long time ago. I haven't ridden a horse since I was a little girl. Lacey gets to ride horses when she works the church camp for Autistic children. I have no idea when or if John has gotten on a horse. I'll have to do a little more research on the horseback riding. It sounds like a neat thing to do.

Thanks guys!
Whew! We just got back from Claire's dance rectial. It was so cute and she did really well.
I WANTED to get some nice pics of her, but I failed. my plan was to get us dressed and ready and then dress her in her costume and take some at my home outside. Well we ended up getting done with her hiar about 5 minutes before we had to leave, so no go there. Then when we arrived there was very little time and she was being lined up to perform since she was 5th. After, her hair wasdroopy and she kept making faces. UGH! And I found the ones I did take are mostly out of focus. Not sure what the heck I was doing, bedsides being rushed.
I'll post some later, but I am very unimpressed with what I took.
And now I'm tired and Claire is all hyped up. LOL! She just went out with Skip to help him water the cows.

Awww!!! Tell that girl, I said "Congrats on getting through her dance recital"
I remember when Grey was taking dance - the recital day was just murder - getting ready getting there and the whole production plus the rehearsal day before. It was always the longest most tiring day - But then that moment your child is on stage is just pure magic.
Grey has changed to cheerleading after 5 years of dance so, no recital this year :cheer2:
Actually she'd still be doing dance if I could afford for her to do both. - but not in the budget:sad1:

Again, I was not happy with how they came out. I didn;t take any of the performance because I "thought" I was videoing it, but I never hit the buttton hard enough, so I didn't. I had bad camera karma all day, I swear.

I'm so sorry about the video mishap but I have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to the pictures. Claire looks absolutely beautiful.
I use to have the same problem with Grey's hair post recital. One year I even had it professionally done (cuz I'm not a talented hair professional like yourself) I know they used 3/4 can of hairspray and it was still limp post recital.:lmao:

I wrote it in my ptr, but I'll try to remember. I think I called the cake hotline and then becuase we were getting it at 1900PF I selected the GF option. I think they quoted me 15, but it was 14 when we paid for it. But I hear conflicting reports of anywhere from 12 to 16. I think you can only get them at GF restaurants or at CRT. I have heard, and I'm not sure if it is true, that at GF you get the white chocolate and at CRT it's usually dark.
that's nice

I hope to get more pictures up in the next day or two. I had a grage sale (and tomorrow is the final day) and it's been a major flop. Not sure why. I advertised, but hardly anyone has come, and not much has been bought, even though I have alot of name brand clothes and not priced very high either. The weather was rainy off and on today, so I'm sure thats part of it.
Thank goodness tomorrow it only goes till noon. I can;t stand another day outside doing nothing for fear of missing people if I stray to far. LOL
Modnay is the big Tonsil day for Claire too. Time is really flying. Before we know it the 4th of July will be here.
I mentioneed to Skip today about how some people are getting coeds for free dining in Dec. I said we got one last year, and it is possilbe we may get one this year too, so if we do can we go for Claire's b-day, and he says no. What a butt. LOL! I don't think he gets the whole thing about the amount of money that we would save. Plus he is really hard with change, unless he does it. LOL!
Well I haven;t gotten a pin yet anyways, but if I do, I am going to ask again. I think Claire would love to be there on her b-day. He said just yesterday she was talking about how soon can we go again. Gotta love my baby!

Most likely ebay now. I got it at Disneyshopping.com, and it was in the stores too. A few months ago it was on clearance in the stores, but not sue if any of them have them anymore. It is not online anymore.

They sold them at the Disney Store right before Christmas. Ebay is probably the only place to find them now. I did just list one for sale this week since we won't be needing it this year. Besides, we never repeat costumes, we always like to try out new stuff!

I understand completely! I start high on my BIN resales. If they don't sell, then I come down. If it doesn't sell in a month or so, I might just start an auction at a buck and see where it goes. So keep an eye on it! I have to pay for our fall Disney trip.....
Thanks for the nice comments on my Flickr photos. We've had a lot of fun stalking the characters with our big bag of costumes!
Yes, I made Mary Poppins, and am thinking I will list it to sell sometime soon. Same thing, BIN in my store, then maybe an auction later.....
I think I'm making a new Mary for our fall trip. I still want to stalk Mary's penguins for a photo op..... It would KILL me to find that darn penguin on the first trip withOUT the Mary costume along!

No, I did mine a couple of years ago before that thread was started. I use a different approach, with elements of the dress from several different patterns. And some pieces I actually hand cut myself from no pattern. We have taken Mary with us on 2 trips and had a ball! You should see if your aunt can work something up for you. It's WAY fun for your little one to be in a costume no one else has on. The characters and their handlers love seeing something different!

Thanks...I know what you mean about different costumes. We got SOOO many comments on the red Belle dress. And we had the older version of Aurora and the Ariel wedding dress and again people asked where we got them. And the Alice dress seemed to be a hit with alot of the CM's since most little girls don't chose that one regularly either.
I definately will see if the Aunt will try to make one. It would be great for Halloween as well. I dressed up with DD last year, she was a pirate, and so was I, and I can used the red coat I used last year and do a different version of Mary in that. What fun that would be. LOL!

OK I am slowly but surely catching up! I love the pictures from BBB! Those dresses are adorable! I don't know whose crown is whose...uh oh, I feel ashamed! My niece is 2 and I can't wait to take her there when she gets a little older.
Belle's dress in the MK parade is so pretty. I was Belle for Halloween when I was 5 and my dress was BRIGHT yellowish gold. I like the one in that parade much better!
OK, what is with the princes NOT being cute? I think we saw ONE cute prince the whole time. At least your Cinderella was pretty, sometimes they are goofy looking! I don't mean that to be mean, by the way. I also got a small crown for my birthday at 1900PF - it was ridiculous! I tried to wear it anyways, haha!
Bolt is an adorable movie, but I cried! Those pics with Rino and Bolt with Claire are so cute.
I just about died laughing at the photopass pics in front of the castle where she is pretending to be asleep!! OMG, too funny! When I was little I used to stick my tongue out in EVERY picture and my mom would freak!
PS I love the notes you give to her. I teared up a little bit when I saw the princess one when you gave her the fan. It just brings back memories because my mom did that for me and my name is Clare!!
Alright, I can't wait to read more and eventually catch up!!

UPDATE
Claire had her tonsils out yesterday.
So far so good.
She went in with a cheerful attitude, but I knew she was worried. For some reason she got it in her head that she would be cut up to bits. Those are her words, :confused3 but I reassured her they were only taking the rotten stuff out of her. LOL! ;) She woke up crying they said, and took us back to her. I teared up walking up to her. She looked so sad and she was sobbing and she just wanted to go home. Thats all she said over and over. I held her on my lap while they monitored her.
We got her to drink some water, but once after about 15 minutes of sips, she spit it out all over me and goes "YUCK, this is water, I hate water". It was like she was out of it till then and finally realized what she was drinking. LOL! :rotfl2: Skip and I and the nurse were laughing so hard about it.
We arrived at 8, her surgery was at 9:15 and were in the car going home a little after 11. I couldn't beleive how fast it went.
With Paige we were there all day.
We also found out tylenol with codiene cost $40 a bottle. LOL! DH wasn't too happy about that, and it has a refill too. :scared1:
She did pretty well all day. We had bad moments and good moments. They said she wouldn't be hungry for a day or two, but to push liquids. Well we weren't home long and she asked for pizza. I told her she couldn't have that right now, and then she started crying. She said "will I ever be able to have McDonalds again," and I told her yes, very soon. LOL! :) And she said, "well I need to eat you know".
So I gave her two bowls of sherbert, and then she had soup. Then she ate mac and cheese for supper, and some grapes, and a half of a banana, and more sherbert. I can't beleive how much she ate. She was like constantly starving.
She played and colored a bit too and we did take a small nap together. Night time is hard, because she thinks she should sleep with me (thanks to DH). She did finally go to sleep in her bed, and I told her if she had trouble she could come in my bed later on, which about 4 AM she did. But she seems OK so far. Not herself at all, but better than I expected at this point. But they say she will go down hill all week and by next monday it will be the worst. And then back up again.

AWWW! poor Claire
I feel bad for her. Usually day 5- 7 is the worst. It seems like that's when we always have kids readmitted because of bleeding when their scab comes off. I don't want that to sound like that happens a lot because it's rare but rather that is about the mark when it seems to happen. I'm really glad she's eating though that's the biggest hurdle for recovery. Give her a big hug for me.
And poor thing thinking they we going to "cut her to bits":scared1:
I'd be scared too if I thought someone was going to cut me to bits.
My kids are off at camp this week. I thought it was a great idea to send them both at the same time so I wouldn't have to make that trip 4 times.
But man I'm I lonely without all that aggravating each other going on. It is nice to have so alone time with Kevin though; where I don't have kids constantly wanting to know what we're talking about
keep us posted on Claire's recovery.

A little update on the Mary poppins dress I wanted to get made.
Well MIL called the Aunt who can sew, and she is now no longer sewing because her artritus has gotten so bad. So I was pretty bummed. Mil knows a few people who sew, but we were a bit worried how high the price would be as well. So we decided to contemplate that idea at the moment.
Then out of the blue this morning I remember that while looking at the book of costumes at Claire dance school I had seen a Mary Poppins dress that another group was going to wear in another show. I can't remember EXACTLY what it looked like, but I rememberd thinking it was really cute at the time and wondering if I could buy one. This was probably 2 months ago or so. The girl who works the office wasn't in that day, and I just kind of forgot about it. Well I contacted the school today and they said they could order me one and it is on stock right now. So I gave them the go ahead. Claire wears sizes 4-5 right now, and I decided on a 6 so she has room to grow. I wish I could remember exactly what it looked like though. LOL! But I know I thought it was cute, and she will love it. Now this will be a dance style one, so not as gorgeous as some of the handmade ones, but we'll doll it up with a paracelle and hat (I can't remember if the hat came with it or not) and she'll be happy with it. It will be a great Halloween costume and if we go to Disney next March, it will be coming along as well.

I also got to figure out where to get a pair of cute white boots like i've seen others have. Those are so cute!
You should be able to find the same boots I had for my daughter. Ours are a bit small so I've been searching high and low looking for a pair in size 2/3, but have come up empty. I even called the manufacturer who says they have been discontinued.
If you google cha cha 202 (the style number), you will find some links to investigate. I don't know if they really have them. I only ask that if you find any in a 2/3, PLEASE let me know! The manufacturer is Pleaser.
Be sure to let me know how it goes!

I forgot to mention price. Ours were under $30 a pair. We did find black last year on 2/3 which I bought to go with her Mary Poppins nanny costume, but alas, no white....
Anyone know where to buy white spats or where to find a pattern to make some???

They discontinued that boot, but there could still be online sites with them in stock. I just know that when I did my thorough search last fall, I could not find the 2/3. At that time, the smaller sizes were still floating around. They came as 11/12 and 13/1.
I'll probably sell the pair of 13/1's we have eventually, but I'm still hoping there's an outside chance that with tights we might squeeze her into them for our fall trip!

YAY!!!!! I found a pair and ordered them. They only had small and Medium left in white. I got her a medium. She wears a 10 pretty much right now,(may be moving on to 11's though soon) and the M's are suppoed to be 13/1's, but I read they run really narrow and also I want her to fit in them for awhile. Especially if we do go next year. Then she can wear them and hopefully meet Mary somewhere.

She's been doing really well. This weekend is when it's supposed to get bad, but not too bad so far, Mostly really cranky today. She cried over anything and everything. my mom brought my neice over and we went swimming at my SIL on my DH's side across the street. They had fun, but when it was time to go Claire got bad. She screamed and cried and wanted to go to my moms too (and spend the night too) and we told her no, and she was laying on the gorund just screaming and kicking. my mom was amazed, she had never seen her act that way, and she doesn't very often either. She was horrid and I had to drag her to the house, only for her to run off again to give a final kiss and then she ran back in and cried in her room for over a half hour. then when it got quiet, I checked on her and she was asleep. I'm sure she'll wake up cranky again, but I knew she seemed extra tired today. Hopefully it gets better. LOL!
I would say though for the most part she has been doing really well. Much better than I expected.

I am so MAD!
Remember how I said I found the boots I wanted and ordered them for Claire for the Mary Poppins outfit....well I just got home and found an email from the company telling me they are out of stock and would I like to switch them for the chacha180's. Which are cute, but the ydon't have the lace up the front that I want. I wrote them back and told them how I was pretty disappointed in them and not to happy with them listing them as in stock (as other sizes were listed not in stock). So now I'm on the hunt again I guess. I didn't ask if they had the size smaller in stock, because I fear that Claire would grow out of them, especially if they are narrow. I guess if worse come s to worse I can get the zip up ones, but they just aren't nearly the same.
UGH!

Well I think I found them in white. I just ordered it, so I hope it's right. They ahd the sizes listed differently though. For black it said 11, 12, 13 and 1 and for white they only had 1. But the sizing is supposed to be 11/12 and 13/1 so not sure whats up, but it was the same boot. I hope the other palce refunds me fast, but I doubt it, since it took several days for them to even notify me that the boot wasn't in stock. I did look on there site now and they have them taken off completely now. Not even the black are on there anymore.

pretty much. It was kind of wrapped in a bun then, I guess. I didin't see how she actually did it from there and by Wed. it was falling out, but thats basically what I did. I gelled it really good and then braided it and wrapped in in a bun and pinned it then pinned the hairpeice around it.

For those looking for a Alice costume, go to the budget board. Tehre is a post about costumes on sale. I forget the name of the site off the top of my head, but it's something like buycostumes.com. Anyways it has all there clearance for 50% off with a code and there is an Alice dress in that clearance. It's not exactly like the parks one, but it is still very cute. And the shipping seems to be $4.99, no matter how much you buy. There are other Disney themed costumes as well.

The Disney Store version was VERY cute, I was torn between that one and the park version. I only went with the park versions because that was the one Maddie really liked (and still talked about a year later) and I could get it for the same price :)

Technically you are not allowed to bring back mugs to use. You are supposed to buy a new one each trip....that being said, yes they are all the same..but the newest ones came out in Feb, so if the ywent before then, they will be different.

Hi Jen, I just found your TR yesterday and have been reading it like a mad woman. It caught my eye b/c we were there w/ family @ POP the exact week you all were (March 7-14th). We were staying right across from you beside the Play-Dough people. It was really funny reading your TR b/c we probably crossed paths about 10 times that week. You all were on Splash Mountain on the 8th when Wishes was going off. SO WERE WE!!! and we were also at the hippy dippy pool the night when everyone thought that space shuttle was launching. you can actually see my hubby and nephew in one of your pics at the pool. Too hilarious and it is a SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!! just thought i'd comment and say hello! Claire is just adorable! I have truly enjoyed following you on your journey & secretly looking for myself in your pics, :rotfl2:hehehe!
What a small world! Which picture are your family in? you must do a TR just for the fact that I want to see if we are in any of your pics. LOL! but of course I would love to read it as well. That is too cool we were on SM at the same time. Wouldn't it've been a hoot to know if we were in the same bot? LOL! Though I honestly can;t rmemeber even where we sat, let alone who was in it...though I remember some teen girls in it I beleive.

Actually it's all Kmarts. It's not even widley known in the sotre, but all the clearance is 50% off. I scanned everything and alot came up cheaper than even 50% off what they were marked down too. The signs are really small in the aisles and had I not known before I went, I don't think I would've noticed it there.

Your welcome :) Thanks for sharing what camera you got . I'm steering clear of Cannon this time and also Sony , that's the other camera that I have that doesn't work so hott. LOL
I'm just gonna buy something very inexpensive , that way when something goes wrong I can just toss it and not feel bad about the money I spent . LOL

My daughter tried hers on the other day and she claims they still fit..... so the plan right now is to use those for her Mary Poppins costume one more time..... They are 13/1 and she's in a 2. I think loosening the laces helps as the feet grow....

Hey! Jen;
I just read your news on Lisa's thread. Danny had a hip replacement on May 25, 2006. says it was the best think he ever did...but he drug it out long enough, he was to the point of not hardly being able to put weight on it. Depending on the type and the doctor Danny was totally down for 6 wks; and he went back against docs wishes at 8 wks the doc wanted him to wait 12 wks.
I wish him luck!!! he will feel alot better after it is all over. ;)

Thanks so much. We have been hearing good things so far, so I hope all goes well!
For everyone else who has no clue what we're talking about...
Remember how I made commentsthrough out the trip report about Skip not keeping usp with us, and just griping about how fast I was going, nad how tired he was and the pain he had....well we finally know why!
After being sent to several different Drs ofr different things like, the sleep clinic, thyroid Dr, blood work, lotso f x-rays and a MRI, he was fianlly sent to the right specialist. (I forget which kind he is). Well DH has some sort of teat in his ligamnet or something like that. And basically his bone in his hip is rubbing on bone. The reason he can't sleep is becuase he is in pain, and he can only sleep a certain way to keep tyhe pain down, which is not his favorite position, so then again not much sleep. This specialist was so mad and told DH he needs to change family Dr.s He said this guy should've picked it up from the first x-ray a year or so ago.
So in Oct. Skip is going to have a hip replacement. And then possible in another year or so the other will need to be replaced as well. So glad to finally get him so peace and hopefully pain free soon! But I'm sure like most men he'll be a baby too!~ LOL!

I took Paige's (my older DD) senior pictures yesterday. Once I get some uploaded I'll post them. I took like 300 and so far she has it narrowed down to about 100 she likes! LOL!

We decided I would take Paige's senior pictures this year. I can't see spending so much money on pics, and I can take some half way decent ones. Not proffessional quality by any means, but enought to make her happy. I started out by telling her I would take sone and if her dad wanted to get professional ones done then go right ahead. Well her dad said he didn't want to spend the money on any pictures and agreed that it would be good to have me do them.So yesterday we went out and took about 300! She had several changes of clothes and justpicked spots and we shot. Some aren't so great becuase it was super sunny out and the shadows were impossible to avoid. She didn;t care about shadows, but I tried to get as few as I could. At one time I even had Michael holding up a poster board to block out sun the would cast shadows. LOL! That only worked for certain spots though.
She has narrowed it down to about 100 for now. We will get just a few poses, once she decides what she likes best. So here is what I have editd so far. When I get more done I'll post them. Feel free to tell me(us) which you like alot or don;t care for. It will help with our desicison.
Michael and I don't really care so much for this one, but she liked it.

Great job! I like the one where she is laying in the hay, the one with the cow behind her,
the B&W by the tire, the one in the field, and the one by the tree. I know what you mean about the cost of a photographer. We are trying to decide what we are going to do about Dayne. He in on his second month of Accutane so we are waiting for him to clear completely up and than I'll decide. I was thinking of taking him to New Orleans city park and/or one of the state parks and getting a friend to try and take shots (she a a nicer camera than I do--I also thought of going to spend the money on a camera instead of a photog:laughing: )
Great job! have a great evening!

Jen,
You honestly can't expect us to make a choice with all of those gorgeous pictures of Paige. Hum.....I like the ones with the corn, the one of you lying on the hay bale and the one of her leaning on the railing with the cows in the background.
I took Lacey's senior portraits too. I wasn't about to spend the kind of money that the photographers wanted.

Here are a few more pictures. My computer has been running really slow everytime I go into my pictures and it takes for ever to resize and load for some reason. So only a few today as I got frustrated! LOL!

Okay. I really want Belle's dress. - I guess I'll have to have my own tea party so I have somewhere to wear it
the shadow on her dress isn't too noticable - those are good shots. i really like the ones of her laying in the hay, sitting in the anarondak chair (the wider shot), I love the one where she is by the tree in the blue check shirt and you can see the blue pots in the background. You did an awesome job. Man I wish you lived closer - I'd hire you. Paige has the most amazing blue eyes ever.
Good luck to skip- yep he's probably gonna be a big baby - hope he has a quick recovery though.

Jen, I still like the first ones I commented on. In this last set I like the one with the cows, the one on the pier, and the in the corn right above the one w/the cows. I love the picture of little Miss princess running away from you and her looking back; that is a great one!

I think this is the first time I have posted on your report. I came over from Lisa's to see the pictures. They are great!!! The ones with your daughter sitting in the hay are really good. It was hard to find any one particular that was good because they were all good.

Girl my cousin's wife and a friend have both started taking pics. My friend charges $100 for two hour session at a party, and $50 1/2-1 hr for stuff like what you did with Paige;than she puts it on CD(she does finsih them also;but only after they chose certain ones not all of them--she'll put their name, sr year, whatever) and they develop what they want. My cousin does the same I do not know what she charges
BUT, neither are pro's just have an eye like you do! In fact the first one and the second to last one in my siggie are done by my friend...no touch ups
