What adhesive to you prefer when cutting out designs/shapes or letters with your Cricut?
The only adhesives I have used in the past have been from Creative Memories (the regular square adhesive the tape runner).
I find putting adhesive on letters to be very tedious, especially small ones and layering the shapes/designs (the little parts) will be even worse.
Am I missing something here or is it really that hard?

I use Zig pen adhesives and tweezers to lift the pieces and put them in place. It's a bit tedious, but I am usually only doing a few at a time so it's no big deal. I also use my Xyron sometimes, but that adhesive is a lot more expensive and there's a lot of waste.

Either the Xyron 250 (I just use the refill, not the little X machine part) or Zig pen.

I pick the small parts off the mat and put them right on the xyron refill, which I UNROLL along my counter top. so when I get done, I have a whole long strip of 'pickins'. then I cover it with the clear film, and cut from the roll. Then, before pulling the top off, I burnish it with the end of a bone folder so i'm not left with the little clots of adhesive. pull the clear film back on itself, not perpendicular. That should take care of an stray adhesive. Then you can pluck them off with tweezers or the tip of a needle or piercer or sticky tool and place them.

I too use the Xyron adhesive to adhere my letters or small pieces on. I do not like using the glue products to do this, because they are so messy and leave shiny smears all over your hard work. Both CM and SU have adhesive erasers that you can use with tape products like the Xyron or Tombow that erases excess adhesive off, and your end product looks so much nicer!
I use the CM adhesive pen and tape runner depending on the size of the die cut piece.

I use the Zig pen too. Works great!
