Mal - just returned a few days ago... it is my understanding that this was only available through May 31st...

Yep - still going on. We did it yesterday (June 2nd) and asked
and they acted like it wasn't going to end soon. Seemed
surprised that I had heard it was ending in May.

We made out very well. I got an adult and a childs. ($10.99
and 5.99) We got two powerades in the morning that were
huge and lasted quite awhile with the drink coupons - would
have been $3 each.

For lunch we got the childs meal (3.49) at Pizzafari - pretzel
grilled cheese with a bag of cookies. I ordered an orange drink
and she said "drink or juice?" I asked if OJ was an option
and she said sure. That is $2.49 by itself. Then we took
the childs lunch to the Flame Tree Barbque and I got the
1/2 chicken. ( I think that was about $8) and a drink which
was about $2. They no longer have the combo on the menu
which was $10. The guy told me that was the first day it was
no longer on the menu.

Later we got ice cream - one was $3 and the other was $2.50.
So we got about $25 worth of food with our two coupons. We
would have bought that anyway - so it was a good deal for
us.

caskar - I posted the same question on another thread & here was tennis mom's reply: "We used the meal deal at AKL and it worked great for us. You can purchase them right at the counter where you will be eating. I did not know this and walked all the way back to guest services to purchase for my family. LOL."

Yep - you can buy them right as
your are ordering. We actually
just went to one of the counters
(Flame Tree) in the morning and
bought them because we were
thirsty and wanted to use the
drink coupon. We came back later
and used the entree coupon. You
can buy them at any location - it
doesn't have to be the one you
eat at.

By the way - for people with
picky eaters - my son just loves
the Pretzel grilled cheese at
Pizzafari. He snarfs the whole
thing down. The Flame tree
only had Peanut butter and jelly
or Hotdogs and beans.
