I was looking at the Brown Derby dinner menu and noticed the Cobb Salad is only an appetizer. Has anyone been able to order it for their dinner entree while on the dining plan? Thanks so much!

Specifically, no - but there is no apparent restriction at any participating restaurant against ordering an appetizer as your entree (and dang, that Cobb salad is worth it!).
eta: On the other hand, it's a particularly poor use of Dining Plan credits - since Brown Derby is a Signature restaurant and 'costs' two table service credits. I think the menu price is about $16.99? I'd just pay cash, if that was going to be my meal.

The only problem you may run into is that the cobb salad is listed as an appetizer "for two." Generally items meant for two diners cannot be ordered by a single diner on the dining plan. Don't know if this would change because you want to order an appetizer as your entree.

My general rule of thumb is that a table service credit is "worth" at least $30 - so a two tableservice is about $60. Even if you say the dessert is $10 and the beverage is $5, that's still a $45 salad:scared1:
Yep,pay cash if that's what you want for dinner!

If you really want the salad badly, it may be worth it to consider ordering the salad OOP (then there is the added advantage to their being no issue as to whether it's meant for two or not) and then using the two TS credits you will save for another meal.
