I seem to remember reading something about a package purchised at resort marinas, for unlimited watercraft rentals. Does anybody know about this? What is the cost?

Thanks! ;)

This is what I recieve d from the Poly when I inquired about it

There is a Captain's Plan at the Mikala Canoe Club, (Polynesian Marina), for guests staying at the Polynesian Resort. For $199.00 plus tax, you can get 4 hours of boat rental for any of the boats from the Water Mouse to the Pontoon boats. The 4 hours can be used anytime during your stay. This offer is limited to guests of the Polynesian Resort.

Thanks, Gail. I'm seeing that as not a good deal for Water Mouse rental, as they are around $30/hour, making 4 hours $120. What I was thinking that I read was for around $300 or $400, but I can't remember exactly what it was. Anyways, thanks for the info about the Captain's Plan. :)

Hi Cali,
I just inquired about this yesterday at the Yacht /Beach Club. The captain's plan there is for 4 hours at $99.

The Family plan is $199 unlimited rentals for the length of your stay for up to 4 people. I think there is a cut off but we are staying there 7 nights and it's good for all 7 nights.

Thanks, Jo! The Family Plan is what I'd want!!! We are staying 8 nights, the 4 of us. I love water mice, so I'm sure we'd save money by doing that! Would you happen to know if the Grand Floridian's Captain's Shipyard offers this?

Thanks again!

Cali D - yes the Grand Floridian does offer this. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I wasn't on the boards yesterday.

Have fun.

Does the CR do this? And is this for one person/one boat? or Unlimited use for all people? Thanks for any info.
Christi

Christie, I am not sure about CR, but I believe they have.

The unlimited plan is for up to 4 people in your party.

Does the Family Plan allow for 4 adults and then 2 children to ride.
My children are not old enough to drive or go solo, so an adult would have to be with them. If so, this would be great.
Thanks, Wendi

Wendi, The answer to your question is YES, it just allows for four drivers, and any number of passengers, just don't go over occupancy :D

Maybe this is silly but if we are staying at All Star or Moderate can we pay the 199.00 and use the unlimited water craft rental at some marina or other? I think this would appeal to hubby and anything that'll get him interested in WDW is a plus for me! I really don't think we'll have money for a Deluxe this time.

Simonmunro, yes you can, or at least we always have... We've stayed at BW & OKW & have done the WL plan both times!
