So here it is the night before the trip and a princess princess: sleeps quietly in her bed dreaming. She sleeps with excitement looking forward to a wonderful trip. A trip reuiniting her with old friends and the joy of meeting new ones. But there is a problem.....this princess is not me.

No, I was not sleeping soundly the night before the trip. Oh no no no. Instead I was out of work around 11pm and then found myself rushing home to get my act together.

I race home from work and begin what I should have begun days earlier. Forget the fact that I have tons of clothes and gear all over the place, and the fact that I have made a hundred trips to Target, I am still not ready to go. Now, do I jump right in and get started? Heck no! Instead I sit on the edge of my bed and flick on the tv. Yeah, that's a good way to get my stuff done.

Somehow I eventually work myself up to get motivated to get stuff going. Its not like I don't want to go on the trip. I mean I am super excited and dying to go. I just wasn't happy about having to finish packing. But I get around it and do. I was rather amazed to get all my stuff into on small suitcase and a duffle. Well, add a tolietry bad too. Then I also had a huge red tub field with goodies for the pizza party. My biggest problem I saw was how was I gonna get it all into the car. Thankfully I didn't have to worry about that at this point.

Am I done you ask? No way, I still had other things to do. Had some homework to finish up, stuff for DD to complete and I wanted to polish my toe nails. But do I get right on to my business? Yeah right, instead I hop on line and spend a little time DISing. :surfweb: Best use of time IMO.

Finally I decide its about time to get my hiney into bed since I have a very long day followed by a long weekend ahead of me. I check the clock out as I get my alarm set. Holy cow, its after 2am!!!:eek: Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. My alarm will be going off in a few hours, then I am off to DLR.

Wow, 5am sure came up fast. :cloud9: Especially since I didn't get to be till after 2! But I had to get ready, get DD off to school, and finish packing up my car before I headed out. And of course my morning did not go smoothly as I had planned for it to.

Shower, shave the legs (not sure who I am sharing a bed with so it had to be done), deep condition the hair, and brush my teeth. All clean and sprakly, ready to go. Got DD going with no issues, except the asking of money. Geez, can I drop her at school one day without a money grab? Probably not.

Instead of packing the car before I drop her off, I ended up dropping her off then heading back home to pack up the car. Surprisingly, everything fit in the car. Wooohooo! Now I had a few minutes to rest up a bit before I make my way over to DLR. So what better way to waste some time?.....I DISed for my last few minutes. :surfweb: I hopped on and said good bye to everyone who was still at home.

Now I am on my way. I say good bye to my dogs (they are the only ones who will actually miss me), grab a bottle of water, put my shades on, and off I went. As soon as I backed out of the drive way, I crank up the tunes. So you may be wondering what I listen to on my drive over to get me in the mood for the ladies trip. Even if you weren't wondering I will tell you. Is it Disney tunes? Radio Disney? Some girl empowering music? Nope, its rap. Don't know why, but for some reason this morning it had to be Chronic 2001.:eek:

Hardly any cars in the lot so I get a relatively close spot. Why this parking lot? Why not the Mickey and Friends? Why not the Hojo? Well, I was in dire need of beignets. So I had to make a stop at Jazz Kitchen Express before heading into the park. Besides, the park wasn't going till 10. So I had time to enjoy my breakfast treat and start my people watching.

I picked a great spot right on the front line for people watching. I am always amazed at what people wear to the parks and what they think not only looks good, but what they think will be comfy all day. I saw it all. Ladies with heels and dresses, strappy sandals, and heavy biker boots. I even saw one poor gal with no support sandals who's feet looked a mess. Red, raw, blustery, probably had some sort of bursitis and limping like a wounded puppy. :sad2: As sad as that looked, I couldn't help but feel like she did that to herself.

So yes, I had beingets. They were sooooo yummy. I left there covered in powdered sugar. It was worth every warm and sweet bite.:worship:

I was in need of updating my pass, so after I made my way through security check, I went on over to guest services to do so. The line is so much shorter there than anywhere else. Once done I headed over to the main gates. Instead of joining one of the long lines, I sat to the side and just took everything in. It sure looked crowded out there. Just about 5 minutes till rope drop I hopped into a line, and got though quickly. I made my way down Main Street and once I reached the end, rope drop. I had wanted to grab a fast pass for Space Mountain, but there was a huge crane in the way and it was blocked. The crane took up the entire area by the water ball. So I walked right on to Buzz instead and tried to improve my score. No go.

I decided to sit and wait to grab a fast pass for Space Mountain since the crane was leaving. At that time I got a call from Steph (21Yankess) that she was entering the park and did I want to meet up. Heck yeah I did. She was able to check into the room even without her name being on the reservation. Good and bad to that. Good that she could drop her stuff and get settled, but bad since the Hojo basically let a stranger into my room. :mad: Oh well, she looks nice right?

So we met up, grabbed our Space Mountain fast passes and then headed over to get other fast passes and ride some rides. No fast passes available for BTMRR. Per the CM, they only open them on busy days and today was not gonna be one of them. Tomorrow they will be open. Good to know. So we jump onto POTC instead. We walked right onto the ride.

When we got off the ride, we finally heard from Amy Sue (Grumpy Vet). She was able to get into the room as well. WTH? How come Hojo is letting everyone in our room. Geeez, I know we said we were having a lot in there, but come on. So Steph and I jump on the monorail to head back to DTD to grab my car. It was pretty empty on the platform so I ask the CM if we can ride up front. Sure can, hot damn! It was Steph's first time in the front. We had a nice ride back.

So in the car we are again, Dr. Dre CD playing, and still a car full of stuff. Thank goodness no one stole anything out of my car. We make the quick trip over to the Hojo, I "check in" even though we already have, and get things taken care of. Nice front desk guys. Chattery and didn't mind us poking fun at them. We then make our way to the back to get to our tower and head up to the rooms.:dance3:

Next up.....Amy Sue in the room, running into Donna, lunch at Ariel's and hightailing it back to the Hojo.

Those Beignets look so good! I tried the ones at Cafe Orleans for the first time. How do those compare? Riding in front of the monorail is so fun! We got to do that with my little one on his 5th bday trip. He had so much fun!

When we last left our dazzling heroines, they had just made their way to the Hojo and were getting ready to head to the room.........

So around the back to the farthest part of the hotel we go. I got a decent enough parking spot. Good thing since I have so much junk to haul up to the room. Not to mention all the stuff I will need to haul out when I start setting up for the pizza party. And we were lucky enough to meet up with Sarah/Sabushka in front of the hotel while getting my keys. She is a sweet thing with an amazingly out going personality. First thing first though....the room.

We were in 2317, smaller than the rooms we had last year, and although we had a view of the pool, would have preferred the view of the Matterhorn like last time. Steph had already been to the room so she had her stuff hunkered in the area between the tv and fridge. She was nice enough to help me with my luggage.

Amy was there waiting for us. She also had picked a spot for her luggage. Under the desk. And she was nice enough to have gifts for all of us when we arrived to the room. She hand made each of us a tote bag with goodies in it. How sweet was she? I only got each of us necklace's with a lip gloss locket.

I quickly claimed the far corner of the room for my junk. I knew before the day was over my stuff would be spewing all over the place. I didn't want to be "that" roomie. We sat and all chatted for a bit and tried to get our act together as soon as we could. I think we all were wanting a nap, but no one ever said it.

Amy and I were going to head to Ariel's for lunch, while Steph was gonna explore some on her own. But first we made a stop at the front desk to drop off a key for Michelle. While there we met Donna/California Dreamer. Talk about a sweetheart. She also was doing lunch at Ariel's so we waited for her when she went to drop her bags in the room. We were also lucky to run into a few other Divas who were checking in. While waiting I made Amy and Steph take some pics.

Donna finally meets back up with us and we all high tail it over to DCA. What exactly does "high tail" it mean? I don't know. It just felt appropriate to use there. Anywho, we get to DCA and then have to make our way all the way to Ariel's. Yes, it did seem like a hike. Plus there were more "walls" up for construction. So tight squeeze up the walk way.

Well, by now my phone was buzzing away since we were a few minutes late. Like I said, it was a long walk. Everyone was there waiting for us. We meet the "newbies" and say our hellos to those we already know. Wait was only a few minutes before they called us on down.

I love Ariel's and how going downstairs you are going "under the sea". First off we all stop to take our group shot with Ariel. I will tell you we all looked hot.

Ariel had asked if she could be a diva, someone in the group reminded her that she was a princess. But she could be an honorary diva though. Then she started to dish. She let us know that Belle isn't really a princess since she never married that guy. Then she got us thinking about the legitimacy of their relationship by saying that they aren't married, but she does live with him. And she claimed the Cinderella was "hired help".

Cat claws were out! Meeeeooowww!

The best time I have ever had with Ariel that's for sure.

We get seated at a large table right up against the windows right next to the crier and where the princesses enter. We had a great view of the entire room. It did take us a while to all finally get seated. Then we all jumped back up to take a group pic with Cinderella.

They were all very sweet and so pretty. Who wouldn't want to meet a princess? Right? Our lunch was really good as well. First they brought out some yummy rolls, followed by a tier of appetizers.

I didn't see what everyone on the other side of the table had, but the three on my side all had the tri tip. Although it was a bit salty, it was yummy. And the cheddar potatoes were the best. The dessert came out next. It was large platters with an assortment of goodies. Cookie bars, brownie bites, fruit, lava cake, tarts and a shell shaped piece of white chocolate. One in our party had the alternative dessert of sorbet. That looked yummy as well.

She is a sneaky one. After lunch we part ways. Half the group goes one way, and the rest go another. My group was Cristabel, Amy and I. We hit Heimlech's choochoo since Amy Sue has never been on it. Plus we wanted to check out Wendy's man there.

Right after that, I give up my Space Mountain fast pass from earlier in the day to Amy and get my hiney over to the Hojo's so I can get set up for the party. Lucky for me Cristabel has her car in the Mickey and Friends lot so I sneak a ride with her over to the hotel. It was also to help her out since she was afraid of getting lost on the way over there. Don't know how, but she was worried.

Once we get to the hotel, we bolt upstairs since I needed to go, then we mosey back down to my car to unload stuff for the party. Its great to have help. Especially help who has muscle. Cheryl, Michelle and Tracey were already in the room starting to set up. So now the party is really gonna get going.

Things like the pizza party just don't happen. Its done with hard work from many people involved. Too bad none of us were Snow White, then maybe we could just get the dwarfs to help us out. Or even some small woodland creatures. Thankfully I was not alone in this venture. Cheryl/toocherie and Michelle/Zoemakes5 made up the team. Think of us somewhere between Charlie's Angels and the Three Stoodges.

Back tracking a bit before this day, the three of us spent time emailing, messaging and meeting up at DLR to get the planning underway. The theme was decided, we assigned who would be in charge of what, and how we were gonna take care of everything. Getting a place to hold this function was not the easiest to come by. Lots of planning and stress by Cheryl was involved. But somehow it was all working out just how it was supposed to.

So now the big day is here. And we got work to do.

Thankfully we were not alone in our work. Tracey was right there to pitch in and offer a hand, as well as Cristabel. We had tables to dress and decorate, plan where everything was gonna go, set the room up, decide where to put the drinks,more decorating, set up the candy buffet, and still run and get the pizzas. Some how it all came together and worked out perfectly. I love how when you have a vision of something, you make plans, and they get to see the finish product. It looked great if I do say so myself.

As soon as the last thing was put up, I hustled my hiney up to the room to freshen up a bit, throw on a tiara and get my flip flops on. Within 5 minutes I was back down meeting Cheryl and Cristabel for our trip to Costco to pick up the pizzas. We hoped into my car and made our way on over.

When we got there we grabbed one of those huge pallet type carts to load the pizzas on. Then while we were trying to get into the store, the "security" person didn't want to let us in her door. She wanted us to go to the other side and go all the way around to get to the pizza counter. Now that is lame since the counter is only yards from "this" door. Finally she let us in. Thanks to Cheryl using her "tone". Boy were there some strange looks as we wheeled out all those pizzas.

By the time we show up, the party has already started. Michelle had a great ice breaker game going on and everyone was having a great time. Drinks were flowing and snacks were being munched on. And Jane handed out Diva CD's that she made for everyone. But everyone was ready for some pizza.

Dinner was good. Nothing better than pizza and salad with 40 of your closest friends. And can I just say the drinks were yummy. I found a new fave juice to drink with my Malibu. White Cranberry Strawberry Juice.....learn it, live it, love it. Looks like a few ladies tried it themselves.

The next thing on the nights events was everyone's trip to the candy buffet. It was a great idea that Beth gave and it worked. Too well actually. There was so much candy that it boarder on obscene. But it appeared that everyone loved it. So all is good in the neighborhood.

The jello shots that Cheryl made were definitely a hit. And even though I may have "called" many shots from people, I didn't get a chance to have them all. Not that I didn't want to. Its just that Sally beat me to it. Yes, I was out shotted by Sally.

Moving on we started the tote bag exchange. Talk about something that I am glad we did. Everyone who brought a tote bag, left with one. And they were all adorable. No duds in this group. And it seemed that a lot of the ladies got totes that really complimented who they were.

Then end of the evening was drawing near. There were some die hards who held on to the last minute. But most went to bed early dreaming of the PFF for the next day. And those who straggled behind we put to work. A big thanks goes out to all those who helped clean up that room. For a bunch of women we were messy.

Finally I make my way upstairs along with my roomies to figure out how we were gonna do this thing. It came down to the only way the roll away was gonna fit was if we put it between the two big beds. Now it looked like we had one huge bed for 5 people.

There was much talk discussing what everyone had done earlier that day, who we were able to talk to at the party, and the plans for the next day. Most everyone got their stuff out for the next day to save time and we talked over who was showering tonight and who was showering in the morning. With 5 ladies, we needed to get that cleared.

It was slumber party city though in the room. All of us were a bit giddy and giggly. Sorry, there was no LPF that night. Too exhausted and excited for the next day. It didn't seem like any of us could get to sleep right way. But eventually we did. Now we were dreaming of PFF.

Things like the pizza party just don't happen. Its done with hard work from many people involved. Too bad none of us were Snow White, then maybe we could just get the dwarfs to help us out. Or even some small woodland creatures. Thankfully I was not alone in this venture. Cheryl/toocherie and Michelle/Zoemakes5 made up the team. Think of us somewhere between Charlie's Angels and the Three Stoodges.

Back tracking a bit before this day, the three of us spent time emailing, messaging and meeting up at DLR to get the planning underway. The theme was decided, we assigned who would be in charge of what, and how we were gonna take care of everything. Getting a place to hold this function was not the easiest to come by. Lots of planning and stress by Cheryl was involved. But somehow it was all working out just how it was supposed to.

So now the big day is here. And we got work to do.

Thankfully we were not alone in our work. Tracey was right there to pitch in and offer a hand, as well as Cristabel. We had tables to dress and decorate, plan where everything was gonna go, set the room up, decide where to put the drinks,more decorating, set up the candy buffet, and still run and get the pizzas. Some how it all came together and worked out perfectly. I love how when you have a vision of something, you make plans, and they get to see the finish product. It looked great if I do say so myself.

As soon as the last thing was put up, I hustled my hiney up to the room to freshen up a bit, throw on a tiara and get my flip flops on. Within 5 minutes I was back down meeting Cheryl and Cristabel for our trip to Costco to pick up the pizzas. We hoped into my car and made our way on over.

When we got there we grabbed one of those huge pallet type carts to load the pizzas on. Then while we were trying to get into the store, the "security" person didn't want to let us in her door. She wanted us to go to the other side and go all the way around to get to the pizza counter. Now that is lame since the counter is only yards from "this" door. Finally she let us in. Thanks to Cheryl using her "tone". Boy were there some strange looks as we wheeled out all those pizzas.

By the time we show up, the party has already started. Michelle had a great ice breaker game going on and everyone was having a great time. Drinks were flowing and snacks were being munched on. And Jane handed out Diva CD's that she made for everyone. But everyone was ready for some pizza.

Dinner was good. Nothing better than pizza and salad with 40 of your closest friends. And can I just say the drinks were yummy. I found a new fave juice to drink with my Malibu. White Cranberry Strawberry Juice.....learn it, live it, love it. Looks like a few ladies tried it themselves.

The next thing on the nights events was everyone's trip to the candy buffet. It was a great idea that Beth gave and it worked. Too well actually. There was so much candy that it boarder on obscene. But it appeared that everyone loved it. So all is good in the neighborhood.

The jello shots that Cheryl made were definitely a hit. And even though I may have "called" many shots from people, I didn't get a chance to have them all. Not that I didn't want to. Its just that Sally beat me to it. Yes, I was out shotted by Sally.

Moving on we started the tote bag exchange. Talk about something that I am glad we did. Everyone who brought a tote bag, left with one. And they were all adorable. No duds in this group. And it seemed that a lot of the ladies got totes that really complimented who they were.

Then end of the evening was drawing near. There were some die hards who held on to the last minute. But most went to bed early dreaming of the PFF for the next day. And those who straggled behind we put to work. A big thanks goes out to all those who helped clean up that room. For a bunch of women we were messy.

Finally I make my way upstairs along with my roomies to figure out how we were gonna do this thing. It came down to the only way the roll away was gonna fit was if we put it between the two big beds. Now it looked like we had one huge bed for 5 people.

There was much talk discussing what everyone had done earlier that day, who we were able to talk to at the party, and the plans for the next day. Most everyone got their stuff out for the next day to save time and we talked over who was showering tonight and who was showering in the morning. With 5 ladies, we needed to get that cleared.

"So who do I have to kill for that?!?!" Yes, those are the first words uttered by my beloved roommate AmySue. She was not to happy with my choice for alarm ringtone. I like the Mickey Mouse Club music. She obviously did not enjoy it. After she uttered those words, I skipped out of the bed and started getting ready.

The night before we decided that we would leave at 7:35am to be there at rope drop and that whoever was not ready at that time would be left behind. No ifs, ands or butts about it.

Some might be wondering what our sleeping situation looked like. Yes, it looked like one huge bed, instead of two beds and a rollaway.

Today was the day we were going to be going to PFF. So we were all putting on red shirts and are tiaras. Since most had gotten everything laid out the night before, getting ready was a breeze. No one was running around, and everything was going smoothly. Things were going so smooth that we decided to pierce Barbie Beth's belly button.

So once the clock struk 7:35am, we were off. We hussled our hineys down Harbour through security and right on by the turnstiles. Before we made our way all the way down Main Street we stopped for a quick pic.

Then we made our way to the end of Main Street right near the rope. We were sneaky and moved our way right up to the front. We are slick like that. We were lucky enough to run into Linday/lulubelle on Main Street.

Once the rope dropped, we walked with purpose straight to Peter Pan. Like there was another choice? Some of us walked more purposefully than the others. As is evident by Steph and Cristabel practically on the ride before the rest of us were queing up. Right after Peter Pan, we made our way over to Alice. Yes, we planned to get those two rides done first. Always long lines, and no one ever wants to wait for them. On the way over to Alice, we stopped off and took a few pics.

I like the Mickey Mouse Club music. She obviously did not enjoy it. After she uttered those words, I skipped out of the bed and started getting ready.

The night before we decided that we would leave at 7:35am to be there at rope drop and that whoever was not ready at that time would be left behind. No ifs, ands or butts about it.

Once we were done taking our pics with the princesses, we had something to present to Beth. A secret collection was taken up and a gift card was purchased for her. We all wanted to thank her for all the hard work of organizing, keeping the thread up, and keeping up with the ever changing schedule. She may deny how much she does, but we totally appreciate it. Unfortunately, we did make her cry a little. But it was for a good reason.

We have just had our fill of princesses, and an amazing CM, and taken tons of pics, so what else are wild and free Divas gonna do?????.....We are gonna head over to Its A Small World. But at this point, a small group left us and headed out to the VIP tour.

We ended up breaking up into two groups to get into two different boats. Some of us were worried that we would capsize or lean too far to one side. Lucky for us, it didn't happen.

The ride was enjoyable. As much as the song can get on everyone's neves, how can anyone not like it? The message is great, and with the rehab, its great. By the way, I love the new additions to the ride. I think they are adorable and they fit in.

After the ride we were all conviently dumped into the gift shop. Lucky coincidence or a major conspiricy by Disney? I will let you decide.

So the big question that was asked.....What did we do after IASW???? Well, it was decided that two fast walkers who move with purpose were gonna head over to Indy to get fast passes for the rest of us. So off they went with the rest of us not far behind. There was a meeting place, in front of Haunted Mansion.

As we made our way through Fantasyland, the back side of Frontierland and over to Haunted Mansion, we seemed to have lost some of our group. Yikes! Not good. Then when we get there, we can find our runners. And they are not answering their phone. UGH! We lost them. Or wait, they lost us.

Next up.....do Steph and AmySue finally catch up with us? What happened to half the group while making our way to Haunted Mansion? And when the heck are we gonna eat?

Laurie was the nickname of the boy in Little Women and my mother like that very much. It was that or Marc Anthony, ugh.

I would like to thank Stacie for helping us who do not drink alcohol as she did take our jello shots off our hands. That was very kind of her to help me enjoy the party and act as my agent in the partaking of the jello shots. She never told me how they were but then again from her glee upon consuming her um was that 8 or 18th one she was very happy with them.

I just remember riding Small World with a nice momma and then getting off on the disabled side and meeting up with the group.

HURRY UP WITH THE TRIP REPORT, please. i could have knit socks for all of the Marines and half the navy. I think you are stalling so that we will all be so enthused with new meetings that we will forget that you left us dangling with the end not even in sight.

Actually, Steph who is much younger than I and in far better physical shape than I was kind of sprinting and I had to ask her to slow down a little. Pretty sad, but true. I might have gasped out, "could we slow down a little, I'm old".

But, we were NOT ditching. We really weren't. When we left the crowd seen last in a muddle near IASW, no one seemed to be particularly moving. It was inaction by committee!! Or so it seemed.

So, we dashed to IJ, with me holding Steph back with my puffing..and IJ was down. We failed in our mission and were so sad and downtrodden that when we saw that the line at POTC was SO short, the temptation was so great and we needed a little pick-me-up after our total failure to bring home the FP's, I was weak, Steph is blameless!! (taking one for the team there, Steph). So shoot me, went on POTC without you. Nanananananana..pppllltttt!!!

It was interesting to find that only parts of POTC have cell phone signal as Steph was feeling all guilty and madly texting our explanation!!!

I'm thinking she wasn't even blaming me!!

Sorry. And Oops!! To make matters worse, I had Michelle's pass and she didn't make it to HM with you guys. Worked out since she was going to BB...

We kept trying to get a hold of them, but Steph and Amy Sue seemed to have vanished off of DLR property. Phone calls going straight to voice mail, and text messages going un read. WTH? Did they up and leave with our APs and tickets? Did they decide they can cover more of the park alone? Or was one of us so stinky and rude that they couldn't bear to be around anymore? Kinda made us all wonder where the heck they were.

Mystery solved.....they snuck onto Pirates of the Caribbean thinking they could get an extra ride in before the pokie walkers made it over to the meeting place. But we fooled them, we walked with some purpose. So what to do? Wait for them to get the Haunted Mansion, or tell them to meet us at the exit? It was the latter. We jumped in line and were heading down the elevator before you could say "Steph and AmyWho?"

Finally our fast pass runners meet up with us at the Haunted Mansion exit.
Guess what? They have no fast passes for us! Now ain't that a kick in the

Actually, Steph who is much younger than I and in far better physical shape than I was kind of sprinting and I had to ask her to slow down a little. Pretty sad, but true. I might have gasped out, "could we slow down a little, I'm old".

But, we were NOT ditching. We really weren't. When we left the crowd seen last in a muddle near IASW, no one seemed to be particularly moving. It was inaction by committee!! Or so it seemed.

So, we dashed to IJ, with me holding Steph back with my puffing..and IJ was down. We failed in our mission and were so sad and downtrodden that when we saw that the line at POTC was SO short, the temptation was so great and we needed a little pick-me-up after our total failure to bring home the FP's, I was weak, Steph is blameless!! (taking one for the team there, Steph). So shoot me, went on POTC without you. Nanananananana..pppllltttt!!!

It was interesting to find that only parts of POTC have cell phone signal as Steph was feeling all guilty and madly texting our explanation!!!

I'm thinking she wasn't even blaming me!!

Sorry. And Oops!! To make matters worse, I had Michelle's pass and she didn't make it to HM with you guys. Worked out since she was going to BB...

At this point we "thin the herd" and my roomies and I are off on our own
again. We grab fast passes for Big Thunder and then decide to take a trip
around the park on the train.

After our grand circle tour of the park, we hop off at New Orleans Square. Some ladies will be going to a wonderful lunch at Blue Bayou, while the others will be feeding at some counter service. I was with the counter service group.

Amy Sue, Cristabel and I decided on eating at Stage Door Cafe. Sorry, we were pretty hungry so there are no pics of our meal. I will say that Cristabel had the chicken strips and fries, Amy had the mozzerella sticks and apple slices, while I choose the mozzerella sticks with fries. Healthy I know. It was all good greasy fun. Filling and yummy.

While sitting around waiting for the Blue Bayou group to be done, we did what anyone else in our position would have done. We gave ourselves tattoos. Yep, right there at our umbrella table.

Before the trip I found these adorable "tattoo" pens and stencils. So we tatted up and had some great fun doing it. After our tat session, we jumped on over to the Jungle Cruise.

Its classic. Plus we had a great skipper. He did all the corny jokes that one
expects from that ride. And he tossed in a few others. And he didn't point out how silly we looked. So all was good. The best was that he showed us the back side of water. How cool is that?

Before meeting back up with Michelle and Steph, we grabbed more fast passes for Indy. Thankfully we had planned ahead and had their passes with us to do so.

Makes it easier for when we hang out later. After meeting back up with them, we then decided to hop over to California Adventure to see what was shaking over there.

We wandered over to Soarin, but the line was huge, and the fast pass return
wasn't until quite late. So no go. We did finally get Steph to see the Muppets 3-D though. Can't believe she had never seen it. She was one of the "bingo" squares at the meet and greet.

I am not a Tower of Terror gal, but two in our group were way up for it. So we grabbed fast passes for them and then headed to the other side of the park to ride Toy Story Midway Mania.

line. It was a pretty short wait for all of us to be able to ride. I
unfortunately got put with a family, and the father I was sitting next to did
not seem to happy about it. Oh well. He was probably just put out that I bet him. Granted, I am still a beaver, but my score out did his.

Cristabel, Steph and I decided to chill out and relax in the animation building.
Lucky for us we sat on the comfy couch. I love watching all those clips from
the movies and hearing the music from them as well. Always puts a smile on my face. Unfortunately, I started getting a migraine. UGH! But that didn't stop us from shopping a bit at Greetings from California first.

Just kidding. I happened to catch January at a bad moment. One that was sort of my fault actually. I generally use the same type of deodorant. Who am I kidding, I have always used the same one. But they don't make it in travel size, so I had to get another. And that night I wasn't sure if I was feeling dry and smooth, or slick. So I showed January how I did my undercover smell check. Then when she was copying me, I snapped a pic. Bad Stacerita I know. But great pic don't you think?

Anywho, after dinner we all sort of went our own ways to shop, go on rides, or head to the hotel to rest up some. I was with the riders group. We had fast passes in our possession and needed to use them or someone was gonna get hurt.

The time was coming for us to be meeting up with the large group at the DLH for our DVC tour. Walking was not the choice way to get there. So we hurried over to the monorail to take a smooth ride in style. Just as we reach the top, the CM tells us to stop. WTH? I spy another group of Divas on the platform waiting for the monorail as well. So I tell the CM that we are with that group, and he lets us in. Whew! So we were on our merry way.

The DVC tour was set up for us. Thanks to Cheryl for doing that. It was nice. They had some treats for us, and information packets. I was feeling quite ill with my migraine by this time, so I was barely listening.

Molly, Amy Sue, Cristabel and I shared a table for the info session. We spilled, dropped and made a mess of our area. You would have thought that a bunch of toddlers sat at our table and not three moms and a responsible lady. The info session was a bit long, but there was tons to let us know. It was gonna be out of my purse range, so I just enjoyed being there. The tour was great. They looked so cute. If I was feeling better I would have taken pics of them. But by this time I was done. I felt awful.

So I was not feeling well at all and dreading the long walk back to the Hojo.
Steph was feeling a bit down too and was gonna head back with me. Lucky for us we had a coach waiting for us. Well, maybe it was more of a car. Cheryl's car to be exact. Thanks to her, Steph and I made it safely back to the Hojo. She was kind enough to give us a ride since her car was at the DVC area. Who needs a Prince to rescue you when you got a friend like Cheryl?

Once back at the Hojo, I beat Steph to the bathroom. I washed my face and got my jammies on. I then took my wonderful drugs to get rid of my migraine and to help me to sleep. While sitting on the bed relaxing, I asked what every roomie would ask another roomie...."Hey Steph, you wanna rub my feet? I'd give you a dollar." Her reply was "No!". Then I came back with "I'll give you two dollars." Her come back "No Stacie, I have enough stripper cash thank you!".

So there I was rubbing my own feet. And moaning like something more was going on. I did have Steph cracking up over that though. "You sure you don't want to rub my feet?" The answer was still no. Her loss.

So I turned on "Bring It On" and went to sleep.

"Seriously....who do I need to slaughter???" Yep, those were the first words utterd by my beloved roommate Amy Sue. on Saturday morning. Once again I apologize for my alarm. The night before it never seems as loud as it is in the morning time.

I should back up a bit and let everyone know that my exhaustion, along with my sleeping aids and migraine meds put me in a super deep slumber the night before. I was so deep in sleep that I didn't even hear Michele, Cristabel or Amy come in. And from what they told me, I was sprawled out over the entire bed. Amy didn't have no room to lay down. And she didn't really want to wake me and roll me over. Thankfully, she went ahead and nuddged me, and I went right to my side. Still sound asleep.

So from my bed I srping up and hop in the shower. Don't worry, I was careful. Today was gonna be our Tink shirt day. I was loving it already. The rest of the roomies quickly got ready as well. All in our matching Tink shirts. It was gonna be a hat day for me, so my hair was dried quickly and ponytailed on up. I guess having a time set to leave is the key to getting eveyrone ready on time. No one wanted to be left behind.

Now, the walk to Storyteller's was the longest walk in the history of walks to breakfast. It was almost mirage like. Just when you thought you were almost there, nope.....you still had a ways to go.

Finally we make it to Storyteller's and some of our group is already seated. Jeff, the food and beverage manager at the Grand was my contact who helped set up our PS for me. He had set up an area that we were away from the rest of the diners and had the entire area to ourselves. I was very pleased with that. Also, he was there to make sure everything was fine. Thankfully it was.

35 ladies for one breakfast wasn't the easiest, but it worked out great! I really enjoyed the food. Eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy.....yummy! Plus the pasteries were good too. Sorry, no pics of the food were taken by me.

Now all the furry butts are behind us we are off to take our group pic. Getting there and all together wasn't as easy as we thought it was going to be. It was decided that we would take the pic in front of the flowers by inside the turnstiles instead of in front of the castle as we did last year. But before we could do that there were a few missions that had to be done first.

Sorry, no theme music for that.

So the missions were to get Steph through the gates because there was some hoakieness going on with her tickets. Her ticket was valid, but for some reason it wasn't registering like it should. So her and a group were gonna head into the park from the monorail entrance station.

The other mission was to get AmySue's AP upgraded so she could participate in the scavenger hunt today. We get through security (one step below fort knox today) and then head over to guest services. Not a long line, but dang, some people do take forever to get their transactions done. Finally she gets it taken care of and off we are to meet the rest of our group. But before that, we run across something that we both just have to take pics with. True we may go to hell, but it was fun.

Our team worked hard and we worked with a strategy. There were 8 sheets of questions, so each of us took two pages. Then we moved with purpose from land to land. Each person was responsible for checking their own two sheets for any questions that needed to be taken care of in that area. We felt that this was the best way to save time and effort. It worked perfectly. Once we were done and worked our way down Main Street, we realized we still had some time left and were a bit concerned about what if there was a tie. So we decided to double check one or two questions, and get #50 taken care of. The churro question.

So while the others in my group were double checking a few of them, I waited in a churro cart line that rivaled that of Peter Pan. Seriously, it was the slowest moving churro line I have ever been in. Finally I get to the front of the line and order three churros for the three in charge of the scavenger hunt. Yes we were gonna suck up. My phone rings and it is my teammates.....they have spotted another team on Main Street and are worried we won't be first. They want me to get there ASAP. So I grab the three churros and high tail it down Main.

Now, I do not suggest people run in DL. Its not safe. And I am definately not a runner. But I am competitive and running was called for. So I am running down Main Street with my 3 churros in hand. They did slightly look like a baton for a relay race. But seriously, I looked like a chubby gal that needed to get her churro fix on so bad that I had to run down Main Street to do so. But lucky for us, I got there in time. For those that missed it.....I ran down Main Street with three churros in my hand. Just invision the charriots of fire theme music and you will get the whole picture.

KInd of a joke question there Stace!! I don't really own granny panties myself. I have a few oddly high ones, but they are fun colors!!!

I don't have any margarita glass ones, though.

My DD is growing us so fast that I recently bought her woman's underwear rather than little girl ones. They were on sale, and an XS fits her as well as the size 12 kids ones. The scavenger hunt was a lot of fun. Sorry you missed it. I still have a hard time telling people who are part of us about things that happened on the trip. They just don't get it. Even the story of three churros running down Main St doesn't relate well to those who aren't part of this group.

Yes, we were still flying high from our awesome win! :yay:

About this time most everyone is scattering to do different things. There was a group that was going on a tour, another that was heading back to the rooms, and the rest were going their own ways in the parks. The group that remained was Amy Sue, Steph, Cristabel, Melody, Molly, Michelle, and myself.

Now comes the questions....."what do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" "It doesn't matter to me." "Well I don't care either." "So what do you want to do?". :confused3 Yeah, this went on for some time until decisions were made.

Finally it was decided we would board the train at Main Street and take it to New Orleans Station then hike up the mountain to Splash. It was funny we picked this ride since no one wanted to do it, but we all wanted to ride together. Go figure. The good thing was that we didn't have to wait for it. We all had either fast passes we had gotten earlier in the day, or we used one of the fast passes we received from the DVC tour the night before. :woohoo: SWEET!

While in line we thought it would be funny to take pics of us dressed in our anti Splash water gear. And yes, for some reason I am giving the Zoolander "Blue Steel" look while throwing a peace sign. Why? I dont' know.

So, just to let everyone know, they do not allow 7 adults into one boat. It would just weigh it down to much. Obviously the cast member took a quick glance at our hineys and knew they made a good rule with that one. But we had already decided how we were gonna sit. No go. They made us split up into two boats. Thats cool I guess. Like I had another choice.

Most have been on this ride so I will skip over the ride itself and just get to the end. Yes, there was a huge splash (hence the name) and a tidal wave that followed. Even though we didn't have 7 adults in one boat, it was still pretty loaded down. And even with everyone's anti splash water gear, we got wet.

We all unloaded the ride and although our tops were dry, most everyone had wet bottoms. :eek: No good. No one needs wet undies. So we all huddled at the exit trying to decide the best way to not call so much attention to ourselves and get somewhere that we could check to see how wet our bottoms really were. So we enlisted the help of someone in the air force to help us with some recon and try to get us to be stealth. Good thing Steph was there.

So first thing we decided was that we look strange. A huge group of ladies walking around with matching shirts, lanyands, some with medals from winning a scavenger hunt, some with other doo hickeys and such. :3dglasses That is why we made the decision to try to not look so obvious. We took off our lanyards and tried to disguise ourselves as much as possible.

Nest thing was that we wanted to be seen by the least ammount of people. So going across the way in groups of two and three and cutting through the Pooh store then making a straight shot to the Hungry Bear bathrooms was the route we were taking.

You can almost hear the Mission Impossible theme music now.

But something went horribly wrong. Once we started walking out of the shadows of the exit, we scattered and started running around like we had ants in our pants. Everyone started heading straight to the meeting spot (aka Hungry Bear bathrooms). What the heck happened to no man left behind? :sad2: I didn't want to be left behind with my wet bottoms alone, so I needed to pick up my game. How so? Instead of going around the ropes to the ride picture I went over them. I totally hurdled like I was in the Olympics. I hurdled the darn ropes, yes there was more than one, then sprinted, I will repeat that......I hurdled and sprinted to the Hungry Bear bathrooms.

Once there we were all sorta bummed we had wet undies and contemplated heading back to the rooms. Nah, lets eat!

While hiking back up the mountain, I ran into the cutest couple. So I asked them if I could take their pic. They were sweet enough to let me. I need to make sure I let you all know that he also wore a matching tail. Sorry, no pic of that though.

No one could decide on what to eat, so everyone was just going to grab some counter service and we were all gonna meet at the tables outside of the Riverbelle. Some of us had chimmichangas, others got stuff from Stagedoor or Rancho, and someone had ordered from Riverbelle. We sat and realxed a bit as we ate. Sorry, no pics, too hungry.

It was fun going over the stuff from earlier in the day with each other. But all good things must come to an end. Cristabel and Amy Sue were leaving to head home and Michelle and Melody decided to head back to the rooms. :grouphug: We said our good byes, we'll miss you's and catch up with you laters. Then Steph, Molly and I were off to go on another adventure.

So Molly, Steph and I have been cut loose from the rest of our posse and decide to hit DCA. How come the walk down Main Street when you are leaving the park seems so long? It seemed to take us forever to get to the exit. Finally we did, then we headed straight across to get int DCA.

First things first.....make our way, with purpose, to Toy Story Midway Mania. Was the must do for our trio. We got all the way to the back of the park, only to find the line a mile long. No problem for us since we were going to do the single rider line. Unfortunately the single rider line was closed. Denied!

Now we just wandered around a bit checking out different things and chatting.

We did this for a bit until we decided to hit the Animation Building. I have spent lots of time in this area over the years. The Sorcerer's Workshop is one of my faves, and who doesn't love Turtle Talk with Crush? Also, I love just sitting in there to relax and watch the screens.

In the past I used to go to the Drawn to Animation that was hosted by Mushu. It was always cute. But the same thing every time. So I have skipped it for many years. Little did I realize, they changed it. Thanks to Molly letting me in on that. So the three of us went in and had a great time learning to draw Pooh Bear. Who knew we were all so talented?

The three of us did a few quick rides before it was time to leave DCA and head back to DL to meet the others for dinner. We were meeting everyone at Cafe Orleans. When we got there a big portion of the group was already seated outside. We were on two different PS's, but asked if we could push tables together so we all could sit together. They were nice enough to do that for us.

The only down side to dinner at Cafe Orleans was when the bill came. Some had their own bill and others were together. Steph had her own bill, but the waiter mixed up her's with someone else's and that's where the trouble started. Cutting to the chase, the waiter slide her card three times and ended up blocking her card from use. She was pretty upset since she had only so much cash on her and now her card was blocked due to his mistake. She would have handed him another card if he had been up front about sliding it the first two times. In the end things were straightened out.

Before we headed out, we had a surprise visit from Yellow Mickey Poncho. She was so full of energy that it was almost tiring. But she was great. We were glad that she was able to meet up with some of us.

The last ride before we were gonna meet up with the Fantasmic group was BTMRR. When we exited the ride we ran into Callie, Stacielee and a few others. We ended up chatting with them for a bit instead of heading straight over to Fantasmic. Just as we said our byes to that group, the lights went out and Fantasmic started. We tried to get in to the group, but the CM wouldn't let us since it started already. Even after we told the CM that our group was up there and our seats were being saved. Denied! So we did what every Diva would do.....we walked down to the next CM and asked them to let us in. Nope, it already started. I even pointed out our group since I could see them. But the CM wouldn't budge on that at all. Denied again! We missed Fantasmic by 1 minute.

Instead of dwelling on missing out on Fantasmic, Steph and I decided to do a few more rides before calling it a night. We rode the Storybook Boats first and that was fun. We got in a boat with a large family that did not speak English and because of that, our boat almost tipped over. The CM was not too happy with us because of that. Oh well. Next we did Snow White.

It had been such a long day, that we were finally tired and ready to get back to the room. Once again, I swear the move the Hojo's back a mile while we are at the parks. Because every night it seems further away than it did that morning when we left. I'm just saying. It was pretty late by the time we got back to the room.

We ended up chatting and goofing around for a while before we settled down and got ready for bed. Once again I offered Steph some work. She could earn a dollar if she rubbed my feet. No go. Denied. Offer still stands.

Michelle was in the tub when we first got to the room. And then Steph was gonna go in next. So I did what every Diva getting ready for bed would do, I turned on MMA and watched an old fight with Chuck Liddell kicking some MMA hiney. Yeah, great way to end the day.

Finally I hopped into the shower and then got into bed. I was so tired I didn't even dry my hair. I just went to bed with it wet. It was so late as it was already and I didn't want to waste anymore sleep time since my morning was gonna be so busy. And the fact that it was Daylight Savings I was gonna be losing an hour of sleep. Who ever thought of that needs to be shot. So not fair. Life isn't, so I sucked it up and went to bed. Oh, and did I mention that since Amy left I had the bed to myself.

Next up.......helmet hair and almost killing myself.

I hear ya, girls. Bree & I were SO TIRED that morning. If I hadn't pre-paid for TWO of us, I might have just slept right through the morning. I mean, after being up so late the night before and all that walking (Scavenger hunt, WIWF tour and then using all our collected FP's), Sunday morning was torture. Remember the looks on our faces when we met in the lobby by the elevators. Everyone was cranky - me included.:guilty:

Glad you are enjoying it. I love giving out all the details. If I didn't, I would have been able to do the whole thing in one post. When people read my TR, I want them to get the whole experience and feel like they were there.
