I've been camping at the Fort many times, but it was always with my parents. Well, with a husband and two kids, my parents camper is now getting crowded LOL. So we just bought ourselves a pop up. I have two questions....

One, how much is it to rent a golf cart for a full week? Isnt there outside places that you can rent them from and they will bring them to you? Are the prices any different?

Two.....with a pop up, I can either camp on the "tent/pop up" sites or the travel trailer sites, correct? Is the pad really worth it to pay the difference? I just priced it for October and for a tent/pop up site it is like $42 per night. To upgrade to a site with a pad, it is like $72 a night! I'm thinking a pad is not worth that much of an increase! Is the increase really that much?

Thanks so much!

There are a few others on here who have rented off site and will post a guy named Steve's site most likely.

As far as the partial loop vs a full hookup, I would definately go with the partial for $43 and save that money to pay for the cart. Both of the partial loops are nice but 1500 seems to be most preferred because of it's location. It's closer to the pool and Meadows Trading Post. Good luck planning

My parents stayed in the 2000 loop this past Christmas and really enjoyed it. The only major inconvience for them was no sewer hook-up. If you need to empty your tank(s) you will be directed to an empty site in another loop to do so. We were there for three weeks and they needed to empty about every three days. Fortunately they have a truck camper and it is quite easy to move it around. I'm not sure of your needs or set-up but this is a factor to consider with the partial hook-up sites.

Disney cart rentals come to about $58 per day after taxes. There is no quantity discount, so 58 x 7. There are several threads around where people talk about the cost benefit of renting off-site. One of the highly acclaimed renters is Kenny at Tee-Time... he does a week for about $240 IIRC.

kenny is giving us 10 days all included taxes, delivery, everything for an even $300. I have heard good things about his setup too.

Hi! So would we be unable to use our kitchen sink if we stayed in a partial hook up site? As for a potty, we will only have a cassette potty so we wont need sewer for that. But it would be nice to be able to use the sink.

Thanks so much for all of the information! How do I contact Kenny for a cart rental? Does he have a website?

You can bring some secondary container to collect your sink water and dispose of it in the CS toilet.

If you're on 1500 loop and close to an empty site on 1600 you can dump it down the sewer drain there.
