Disneyland 3rd Annual Girls Only Trip (poll closed)

Hi everyone!
This is the poll to select the dates for our next Disneyland Girls Only Trip. princess: We just finished up our 2nd one (March 5-9) and it was a huge success. We had approximately 42 ladies attend and it was a lot of fun.

The dates in the poll are based on the responses received from those who attended the last trip. Surprisingly the month of February was chosen by almost everyone, followed by March and April.
We tried to avoid any holidays such as Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Valentine's Day and Easter. Also if you notice you'll see the trip has been extended by one day from 5 days to 6. :yay:
Of course anyone is welcome to attend any part of the trip if they can't make the full 6 days.

I realize with such a large group that it will be impossible to please everyone, but hopefully being this far out, everyone who is interested will be able to make the winning dates work.

I want to vote the Feb 25th dates but I would be dropped like a hot tater if I went to DL that weekend. That will be the first anniversary with the new man.

I think I am going to have to try one of the mini meets for 2010. *sigh*

I prefer the march again ONLY because that is what works for me. My mom didn't want to come for the Feb one because her birthday is the 26th. I said what BETTER place to celebrate than with us!! I said heck it is her 65th next year too!! She said well would YOU want to go on your birthday I said HECK yeah I would but actually I picked the march dates. Who knows. I know the early ones didn't suit me cuz WAY too close to the holidays and NO money. I need to wait till I get my tax returns!!

Plus Shelby's birthday is April 27th and while I DO love the idea of later in the year I HAVE to be there for her birthday cuz we do a party etc etc. She would be REALLY mad at me if I missed her birthday!

I REALLY hope that date doesn't win (sorry guys) cuz I REALLY want to go next year but I can't miss my daughter's birthday.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. :)

March 11 because I like ot do it at the beginning of payday and I know hwat ever date it is will be when it rains. I have no plans for that time of year, yet.

Contrary to what is reported I was there this month and am looking forward to even more fun. I will be better prepared and hopefully will have better health and no more bruises, boy was and is that a big mean pair of bruises on my leg.

my mom is still debating if she wants to go next year... i told her a little to late for this year but it think she would get alot out of it. she is definetely a disney mom... (aka motherDori/ mommyDori) march would work out the best tho for her... it would be a struggle to hit NE of JAN and FEB.

I'm with AmySue. The winning week doesn't work for me either! My AP expires Feb 14, so I would have voted for either of the first two weeks, but could only choose one. Also, I like skipping crowds, like Cristabel. We will see what happens:)

I have mixed emotions about the dates. And to be honest, I will be there whatever wins. I voted for late Feb because I thought a lot of ladies bought AP's and it's right before they expire. My second vote would be April. I love it at DL when it is warm. But in 2008 it was too hot so you never know!

I love it at DL when it is warm. But in 2008 it was too hot so you never know!I agree.

Having grown up in Glendale and Burbank from age 7 on, I know that the weather can be all over the place. I can recall some very rainy March and April months, as well as some Februarys when we were in the 80's and going to the beach! :eek:

So for this vote, I decided to not let weather be a factor for me. I figure there's no real way to predict it. Whether it's January, or April all we can do is hope for the best. Like we had last week. :thumbsup2

BTW, I have mixed emotions too. Obviously I want everyone there. But I do know some told me they couldn't do this month because of work, and some couldn't do this because they were already going somewhere. So honestly, which ever dates win, odds are we would have lost some of the ladies. :( I'm just hoping against hope that whatever wins, everyone will find a way to make it work.

I don't know about a convention. If that was posted I don't remember it, which isn't saying much. LOL
Did you want to change it? Let me know. Although at this point, the poll closes tomorrow and so far those dates are winning by a dozen votes over the next closest dates.

I would like it to be later so the weather is nice. Although, with So Cal, you never know what to expect........:confused: It could be beautiful in Januuary and February.

Also later on, the "World of Color" water show might be open! :cloud9:

But the later we get, our Deluxe passes are not good on Saturday. So we have to pay another 40 bucks to get in on that day. Which is doable, if we plan on it.

I was thinking that too - since if it wins with less than 50% of the votes, that means that less than half of the voters want/can go at that time.....
