Just had an email with a link to a new VIP family trip competition to DLRP. :banana: :banana: :banana:
You have to register to enter or already be registered and it's a pic of you and a character to be uploaded.

I won a competition with Ford Galaxy, I got a 2 night stay in the HNY, a car to drive us there, meal vouchers and a VIP party in Discoverland and a fireworks. It was great!

Oh how lovely, isnt it nice when you hear someone actually wins a lovely prize like that rather than just a name in the paper!!!! Bet you couldnt believe it.

I entered this but I have to say when I read the rules and the pic thing I did instantly think of Cap'n'Jacks photos of his little boy and Mickey - if he hasn't entered he should do with one of those - I'm sure he would win :goodvibes

We are trying to save up for a visit to DLRP as we have had to cancel our florida trip.

Maybe this is just me being awkward (most likely to be honest :rotfl:), but there are to things that strike me about this competition:

1 - One of the rules is "Make sure everyone in the photo agrees that you may submit the photo as your entry into this Competition." meaning that I suspect pretty much 100% of the entries are illegal (did anybody here ask the character in the picture for permission ;)).

2 - It gives a list of things that make up the prize and then states that all extra costs are left to the winner. It mentions accomodation, an evening party and a dining experience (or something like that). But nowhere does it seem to mention park entry during the day, or indeed food for the rest of the trip.

The competition is for a Friday-Sunday which isnt too bad lol.

I don't think i have a chance of winning, I won my trip last year...I'm aiming for a Mickey soft toy LOL.

Doh - I didn't check the dates Emma :rotfl2: Having said that annoyingly it's Eurostar so we'd still need time off either side to travel down to London and stay overnight due to distance and timing of train etc.

Yep, I get to the part where you select the photo you want to upload, click on upload and then nothing happens! It just says 'reading disneygallery' or something at the bottom of the page but it looks frozen. I have left it for several minutes to see if it's just slow, but nothing happens!
