So I popped in to my local Barnes and Noble bookstore this afternoon to take a peek at this "Disney Twenty Three" magazine every one is talking about. First of all, I think the plastic wrap is ridiculous. It's a magazine, not a work of art. Secondly, it was very thin. I was expecting many more pages. Thirdly, I also don't like that it's so wide - definitely odd. And to be honest, I was not all that impressed with the content.

I don't think it's worth $16.00 all by itself and it seems not many other people did either. The rack was filled with the edition, which was on the bottom level of the "Barnes and Noble" rack.

What do you think?

I bought it too, and it is nice, but $16, I don't know about that. Some of the contenet was nothing new to me, I don't want to bash it because it does have some realy cool photos. but I am not sure $16 for this magazine is something I need to do again.

I just went to my local disney store and flipped through it, i went with the intention to buy, but wasn't impressed. I am going to wait to see what the collectible gift is and then decide. Oh and they don't sell the membership at the store, even though it says they would, because they said they don't know how to collect the tax becuase people come shopping from different states:confused3 Didn't make any sense to me, as obviously you just pay the tax in the state you are in, so stupid.
