I'm going to look at edging stones. I have 150 feet of garden edging in the front I want to clean up so i'm going to check it out. I'll let you know of my sticker shock when I get home.

is there anything you have wanted to do for a long time and something is keeping you from doing it?

As you know... I have ALOT of those stones! I am going to do a separate post updating on how my project is going. Let's just say that I am moving VERY slowly this evening. OUCH that was a lot of work!

Amid - they are fairly expensive - but OH so easy to install.

I'm liking what NHMickey and Dixie have done with their walls. Toying with the idea of trying something along the back of the house.

I'm think of trying something with flat field stones. I saw some terra cotta colored ones. Maybe after all the construction is done. I'm sure this place is going to be a mess.

I've really been wanting a waterfall, a pond, a pergola, and a covered hammock swing for the back yard. DH says we can't do it because we're just renting.

We did replace the paving stones around the front beds last year and it cost our landlord a couple of hundred. I guess he's lucky he has tenants that care about how the house looks!

My big project for at least two years now has been to dig some of the grass up and get edging stones too. I hit it just right - Menard's had them on sale. I started with 50 (I didn't measure the yard and that just covered the front), went back and got 75 more and that did the side and half of the back and had to go back and get 20 more to finish off. It is really starting to come around and look nice. I've also needed to put down some new topsoil and will need to do some mulching. Plus I've bought some new plants to get in the spots that are open and also want to get some planted around my mailbox.
