I can make adr's next friday for dxdp and have finally settled on restaurants - now will I be able to get what I'm asking for at popular restaurants like coral reef and california grill etc.since its 90 days ahead or should I come up with second choices-yikes!!

You should always have backup choices, because you just never know.

That said, with few exceptions (like CRT and Le Cellier), I doubt you'll have too much trouble if you're going to call in at 7 AM (Eastern) on your 90-day mark. Especially if you have any flexibility in terms of dates and times.

As long as you call at your 90 day mark, and do it first thing in the morning when they open 7am EST, you should be ok. I was able to get everything I wanted for a party of 9-14people. Although the timing for some like the Fantasmic Pkg @ 3:35 was a little earlier then I wanted, but I still got everything. The issue I had was that I wanted to make changes at 75 days out, and then there was no availability or we would be eating dinner at 10pm.

I got everything I wanted at my 90 day mark at the times I wanted for 6 restaurants...I called this week (75 day) and even added something

I think the more difficult ones are CRT and Chef Mickey (since they are still transitioning to 90 days) and V&A (but not on the plan)

It seems that LeCellier and Fantasmic are the only other things that are difficult...the reason being that if someone is staying 10 days...they could have already booked past some of your dates...but if you are flexible with times or willing to do those later in your trip, then you are probably good.

Today was my 90 day mark. With 90+10, I got 8 out of 9 that I wanted within 15 minutes of the time I requested. The one I didn't was Storybook Dining - no lunch or dinner available on either of the two days I offered for a party of 5. I think you will get the vast majority of what you want, but be ready with a back-up in case.

I just made mine last week and got everything I wanted except chef mickey, I even got LeCellier with no problems! I called on my 90th day and it was about 8:30 am since I needed to get the kids to school first. Have backups just incase so you don't have to call back and be on hold.

Tusker House breakfast also seems to be a tough ticket these days. I called last week on my 90 day mark and got almost everything I wanted. I had to flip flop my Le Cellier dinner and Teppan Edo dinner days to get the ressies at the time I wanted, but that was no problem. I also had to take Tusker house breakfast on a different day than I had planned, but timing was still ok. Absolutely could not get a Sci Fi lunch ressie for Star Wars Weekend, but oh well.

I would say have a bit of a back up plan, but you will probably be just fine! :thumbsup2

I couldn't get a 8ish Tusker House ADR for a later day in my trip, and I was really surprised and unable to find another day in my trip that worked. The only days where they had availability at that time were EMH days, which defeated the purpose of getting into AK early. I'm going solo this trip, and I think those tables are kind of limited, so it does depend on the number in your party. I easily got Boma on the night I arrive, but I was also more flexible about the time for that meal since I plan to explore the lodge anyway. Those were the only two ADRs I wanted. (It should be easier for the later days in the trip since fewer people have been able to make ADRs for those dates, theoretically, so you could ask for the more popular meals on later days!) Call on the "90" day and good luck!!
