Link to blog in sig line?

I wanted an official clarification on this. As I understand it, I can link to a personal site in my sig line, as long as I post one of the banners back to the disboards?

I want to make sure I get everything right before I do it.

If a mod or admin can give me an official ruling on this, I would much appreciate it. When you do, could you also include a pm, so that I have a record of it as well? (yes, I've had trouble with my sig lately and don't wish to repeat it.)
