Weird, isn't it????? This is just one of the reasons we prefer almost anywhere over the Poly nowadays.

no hot tub but an very cool pool, a great location, wonderful view of the fireworks, great theming, excellent staff, monorail, large rooms, Great Ceremonial House, ....
sorry off track.... right, no hot tub!
But try it anyway, you'll love it!
In the pool at one end there is a whirlpool type thing. It jets out water like a hot tub, but not hot water. If you sit in the seats you face the castle. The view is beautiful.
This worked out nice for me, since at the time I was alomost 7 months pregnant and not permitted in a hot tub. I sorta got the experience, without the heat.

They did design that end of the pool to be like a hot tub with out the 120 degree water. There are seats molded into the sides ot the round area and the jets come out of the side like in a hot tub. It was considered a warmer water area since the heated water enters back in on that end but it is not as hot as a hot tub. Also when we were there it was in the 90's so I was not looking for hot water myself.
I can't imagine not staying at a resort because it did not have a hot tub. More room for me I guess.

I was in the same boat as you on our last visit and we stayed at the CR instead. Well I wouldn't stay there just for the hot tub again. More the 75% of the time they were not working and when they were there were so many kids using them as swimming pools it just wasn't enjoyable. Now don't bash me about the kid comment, I have 3 of my own but they are not allowed to use the hot tubs for horsing around. The 3 year old is not allowed in and the other 2 are closely supervised while there.

We enjoyed the bubble jets at the far end of the pool every day. They pounded your sore muscles, yet it was cool and refreshing.
Give them a whirl..... :-)

Tikiman and Laura - is that area a hard area to get a seat in? I think it sounds great - especially in the hot weather - I'm surprised they don't do that at more of the resort pools. I can't wait to try it out, but I wondered if it's a super popular spot?

Nolanzzz.... we were there middle of May and hardly anyone was sitting there.... My 18 month old loved walking back and forth thru the 10 or so jets....... You also have a great view of the people hitting the bottom of the slide.

Yeah I never had a problem getting a seat either midday or afternoon in July.

I have never heard a convincing explanation why there is no hot tub. Do we know the reason? The recent pool rehab would have been a great time to do it.

I find it absolutely absurd that there is no hot tub at a deluxe resort! Put me at the ALL STARS then!!! LOL

Oh Steve, now you know there is room for everyone! :) I don't remember the pool being too crowded during peak times, maybe we just timed it right.........my daughter has to be back from the parks and into the pool by noon LOL!
