How is the bus system (crowded, empty, etc.) in the morning around 9:00am. How about late afternoon like 3 or 4? Thanks for anyones input!

This would depend on what resort you were coming from and what park you were headed to. Which resort are you staying at? The buses in general run every 20mins from a resort to a park and back. Buses are the most crowed at park opening and closing and after the afternoon parades.

I would be staying at the POFQ and would be going to either MGM or Epcot.

I have never had a problem getting to the parks either in the morning or in the afternoon. The busses usually run every 15-20 minutes or so. There are busses for each park, water park, and DD. It also may depend on which bus stop you are at. For example, if you go to WDW during a busy season and you are at one of the last pick ups there may be a lot of people on the bus. Just prepare accordingly. By this I mean, make sure you leave a bit early for the parks. Keep in mind security check once you get there as well!

You may consider posting on the transporation board too.

POFQ shares it buses with POR but POFQ is the first stop on and off I believe. I believe both of those parks open at 9am so the morning buses will be more crowed then an off peak time but since you are the first stop you should be able to get a seat.

The buses run every 20mins so it really depends on timing. If you just miss a bus you have 20mins to wait. In all of our trips the buses have been good I cannot think of a problem with any buses.

I believe they have a posted time of every 30mins for the buses to DD and TL but it you are at POFQ you can just take the boat.
