Tri-Circle D Ranch / Petting Zoo Hours

Can anyone tell me what the hours are for the Tri-Circle D Ranch and Petting zoo area? Last time I was there the stables just closed and we didn't get to see them. I don't want to miss them this time. Thanks!

There is no longer a petting zoo at Fort Wilderness. The pens that used to hold the petting zoo animals are now occupied by ponies, and you may not pet or feed them according to the signs posted everywhere.

But, the Draft Horse Barn is still there, and is open from 8 am to 8 pm daily. In addition to the magnificent horses, there is a little display in the barn about the Tri-Circle-D Ranch that is interesting to look at. Pony rides are offered from 10 am to 5 pm daily. Also, on various days, the Blacksmith shop is open from 9 am to 4 pm.

Yes.. the only petting zoo left on Disney property is at Rafiki's Planet Watch at the Animal Kingdom. I was disappointed to learn that it was no longer at the fort at our last visit.
