Hesperis-Also called sweet rockets. These are tall perennials that are old time cottage favorites. Thier fragrance seem to become more powerful towards evening. They flower in the spring into early summer. Sweet Rockets are a delight in the garden. They sometimes need support spring showers will collapse the tender foliage and stems.
Sweet rockets come in white and violet, and like an ordinary soil on the rich side. They grow to heights of 24 to 40 inches.
