DH is wondering if the wine selections are different on each three days wine tasting is offered? He is quite knowledgable and might want to attend two or three if the selctions differ.
Thanks!
I really have no idea...we went on Sunday...but I would imagine that the wines would be the same for each of the 3 sessions...we had 3 whites, 2 reds, and 1 champaign...1 of the wines and the champaign is made especially for WDW, which makes me think they would use the same wines for all sessions. They do not push you to purchase at all. Very laid back. If you want to purchase, I didn't think the prices were bad at all. I hear the sessions are very basic and that people that know a lot about wine would be bored. We know nothing about wines, so we learned a lot. I would think even if you know a lot about wine, that you would still enjoy it. The 3 guys that ran it were great, you get to sample new wines, plus you get a neat wine tasting pin...pins were a big deal on the ship.

We went on a back-to-back 3 day and 7 day cruise last year on the magic (when the wonder was coming out of dry-dock). We attended the wine tasting once on each cruise. I think they repeated 3 of the wines. The sparkling has always been Iron Horse Fairytale - which is fine because we like that one. We served it at our wedding for the toast so it has special memories for us

Thanks for the feedback.
I agree with the quality of the wines on DCL. DH is much more knowledgable than I am and was very impressed. We enjoyed a particular wine so much that we purchased a couple of bottles and brought them home for New Year's eve. Also, we joined the "club" associated with one of the vintors (sp?) we sampled.
BTW, we thought the food on the Wonder was phenominal but others report a mixed bag. What are your thoughts?
