Mickey fabric @ Walmart

Hey all!

I just got back from a trip to my local SuperWalmart and they had the coooooolest Mickey fabric in their bargain pile. It is upholstery weight, tapestry style, navy background - cream pattern designed fabric with a shadowed Mickey head that is about an inch tall on it. There is also a ships wheel and kinda nautical flavor to the whole pattern.

It would make great pillow fabric - and it's only $3.77 for a 54" yard!!!!!!!

I got a couple yards to make those drawstring bags that can be worn like a backpack. So cute!!!

So -- hit yer local Walmart - report your findings!

BTW - this almost had the quality of a fabric that they would use on Disney property - the Mickey head is fairly subtle. I had to take a good look before I realized what the pattern was.

I was just at WalMart yesterday and didn't see the fabric you're talking about (sounds neat!) but found another one in blues that was really nice. Then they had a "quilt" pattern one, with reds, whites & blues in the background and Mickey in various poses on the foreground. It came in two different sizes of prints, large Mickey or small Mickey. Really cute!

Is this only at Super Walmarts? I'd like to get some Mickey fabric, but Walmart is an hour's drive for us, and not a "super" store either. Just thought I'd ask before I drove out there.

The fabric I found was at our "regular" WalMart. We don't have a Super WalMart (tho' I sure wish we did!).
