How are the hairdryers that you can request for your room? Will I be guarenteed to get one? Are they pretty powerful or are they the little wimpy travel ones? Should I just bring my own from home?
Thanks for any info!

I always like to have my own hairdryer because it's easier to style my hair with one that I'm used to. That may not be a big deal if you're a guy with short hair, but with the humidity in Florida, I have to do all I can do to maintain control of my hair. :D

We stayed at the GF in 2000 and the hair dryer was AWFUL! It was not powerful at all and I had to hold it w/ a towel because it would get really hot! I have naturally curly hair that I blow dry straight and it was terrible having to use that hairdryer!

We stayed at the Dolphin last December and they had a normal hairdryer that worked just like my own. :)

How about microwaves? Do the rooms in the Dolphin have them?

The hairdryers are built into the wall, and they're not very powerful .. so if it's really important to you, you'll probably want to bring your own from home..
