room with a view

OK, OK, I have read all about the "secret" cat 10 rooms on deck 5 and I gave in and book one for Nov 2003. Seven night cruise 11/29-12/6. So.... just how good a view do you have from 5520?? Will this be the best view on St Thomas and Castaway Cay or should I have booked room 5020? Is the view obstructed during the whole cruise?

We were in 5020 and loved it. I think 5020 and the one you booked have the least obstructed. As far as the view when you are in port.....in 5020 we had a great view at Castaway but no view in St. Maarten or St. Thomas. I really don't think you can go by this though since you never know if the Captain is going to pull in facing forward or back in. This can vary from week to week. It's the luck of the draw!!

By the way, the view was perfect. Life boat barrels were barely in the way. I'd book secret porthole cabin again if I could!
