Need a place to stay before or after the cruise?

$99 per night at the Walt Disney World Dolphin
for DISUnplugged Podcast cruisers only (you must be booked through Dreams Unlimited Travel for the cruise)

Available dates May 4-9 and May 14-17

Rate is for up to two adults per room. Additional adults pay $25 per night. You will be required to put down one night's deposit per stay (so if you are staying before and after the cruise you need to make two deposits). The price is $99 plus tax for a total of $111.38 per night. This deposit is fully refundable up until 7 days prior.

To reserve your pre or post cruise stay, email Tracy@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com with the nights you are interested in staying. We will set up your reservation for you and request payment of the deposit at the appropriate time.

NOTE: This rate is only available if you are on the DISUnplugged Podcast cruise. If you cancel your cruise reservation later, your rate will convert to the regular pricing.


Every single person who goes on this cruise must have identification. In general, this is what is permitted:

US Adults: Passport OR certified birth certificate and photo ID. There are some other documents that would be ok (including military documents) and if you question what your documents are, please email me and I will check to see if they are acceptable. Basically, you need to have proof that you are a US citizen. A photo ID shows where you live now, but doesn't prove that you are US citizen.

US Children: Passport OR certified birth certificate. They do not need to have a photo ID.

non-US citizens: Passport and possibly a Visa, depending on the country of citizenship. If you have questions on this, contact me.

As far as pre cruise tanning, I think I will start the tanning moisturizing lotion in a couple of weeks. That should get me a good color by the time the cruise sails around.

As for the spray tanning my DD tried that and was orange for days.

My confession is that I love tanning. I don't really care about the tan, but I just love the warm feeling. I find tanning so relaxing. I like the lotions too, but I find I am not very good at applying everyday. I forget.

Used to love tanning for that reason as well.
Until I developed white spots that would not go away.
Dr. said it's a warning for skin cancer and to stop and the white spots would go away, which they did, thankfully.

As for pre-cruise tanning, I am a fair-skinned red head. There is no such thing as a tan. I live in sunscreen. In my younger, more foolish days, I did the tanning bed thing a little bit, but I'm not interested in doing that anymore. That all said, I think I may try spray tanning this time for the first time. I've never done that. Of course, I'd still have to coat myself in sunscreen, but at least I'd have some color.

Dodie...I'm a fair-skinned redhead too and the only way I can tan is a tanning bed. The lotions are ok...but I end up with that yellowy color in between my fingers and toes no matter how well I wash my hands after applying!!

I had a great day with my friend. I took her to the mall and we went out for lunch. This is the first time in a week that she's left the hospital, so it was good for her. It was a great day. I was sitting there and he was trying to hurry me along so that we could leave Taco Bell. There was this uber-annoying family there encouraging their kids to stand on the back of the booths and dance and perform...it was making me crazy. So I ask DH if he'd type out a post for me. Even thought I try hard not to tan because of my grandmother having skin cancer, I still like the feel of the warm sun. I've spent many a day at Blizzard Beach just floating around the lazy river, bottle of sunscreen in hand. I carry it with me and keep slathering it on. :rotfl:

Even thought I try hard not to tan because of my grandmother having skin cancer, I still like the feel of the warm sun. I've spent many a day at Blizzard Beach just floating around the lazy river, bottle of sunscreen in hand. I carry it with me and keep slathering it on. :rotfl:

I try to be good but it is hard. I am just really bad at putting on sunblock. I always miss somewhere. I haven't been to the tan bed in 9-1/2 years so hopefully I will be ok. The one place offers a really good special for 3 months. It is pulling me in.

About 2 weeks before you should see polish chipping and growth at the base. When I know I'm going away I usually get a french pedi.

Thanks. Maybe I will go for Tuesday after work since I will be packing Wednesday. I will take a bottle of the polish with me to cover up the chipping.
