I had lots of neat stuff. Kirby did a patriotic theme for me -
t-shirt, mug, socks, deck of cards, and 2 jar candles - Honeydew melon and Apple pie. I already have the honeydew melon jar burning! She also included patriotic pencils, a beach ball, star sunglasses, and drinking straw sunglasses for the kids.

I received my basket on Friday from ugadog99. Thankyou so much for the patriotic basket filled with patritic them items. In the basket where a patriotic star candle, teddy bear dress in red, white and blue, and a wall plaque that is patriotic that says America on it. Thanks again.

I am leaving for vacation this weekend, and will be sending mine out just before I go.....like tomorrow. I will probably send it 2-day, so it will arrive quickly and can also be tracked. I had a lot of fun shopping for this, and ended up getting a few things for myself while I was at it!

I received my basket yesterday! Thanks Joanne M! Everything is so cute and is set up outside! She got me a cute plaque, windchimes, and 3 little metal-type cages that hang up (or can be set on a table) w/ votive holders in them.

I got mine from CrazyBoutDisney the other day!! IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! She really went the extra mile! It came in a huge box and was all done up with pink cellophane wrap in a beautiful basket. She had put stuff in, all wrapped in disney paper, for my daughter and I. There was TONS of great stuff in it - too much to list. We got completely spoiled. Bath spongies, candy bars, photo frames, hair scrunchies, nail polish, popcorn, hot chocolate, coffee...etc...etc...etc...... She also included this BEAUTIFUL charm bracelet for my daughter, that was her daughters. She included a beautiful note with it that brought tears to my eyes! Thanks so much!!

On another note, I sent mine off 2 days ago. Has to go south of me!!!

It Came!! My gift basket came today! :bounce:


I got home from work to find a VERY nice surprise sitting on my front porch today. It was a box from December99 that smelled very nice, so I was concerned that something inside had broken. Fortunately, what was giving the pretty aroma were a dozen assorted Yankee Candles potpourri tarts. No wonder it smelled great on the outside!

In a very pretty basket with a ceramic handle, Chris (Christmas99) also included a Yankee Candles car air freshener, just in time since my old one is almost all used up. She also sent me a Minnie Mouse Lilo, a small box of chocolates (yum!!), and three car antenna toppers from the Disney Store. One is the American flag, right in time for the 4th, a green hawaiian print one, and Mickey ears with the sun and sunglasses. Perfect for summer! :sunny:

Chris enclosed something personal from her area of the country: a yo-yo and a key ring from her hometown. Too cute!

Well, it is like Christmas at our house today. My biggest dilemma is which antenna topper will go on which car, and should I eat some chocolate before dinner? If it were Christmas I would, so what the heck, right?

Joanna I'm so happy you liked it. This was very hard for me to do...harder than I thought it would be!!!!!! But of course, I couldn't do this without putting some toppers in there!!!! ;) ;) ;) You can put the flag one on until next week, then put the sun one on for summer and then put the green one on for the DIS the rest of the year!!!! :) :)

I got my basket yesterday. It was sent to the wrong house, and then that person just brought it to me. Thanks LGM, I love everything in it. Bath and Body Works is my fave. And I love the sugar scent. Thank you so much.

I received mine. I came home from a great week at CBR, needless to say I was very depressed and awating me was a great basket from Liz(Kaos Creator) and her daughter Meg.

It had all kind of goodies in it and even had a few surprised for my dog.

Once again thanks Liz and Meg I loved everything in the basket.

Hummm, I mailed it a week ago and the post office said three to four business days is all it would take. Well, the post office must be really slow, Keli said that she sent it last week and I didn't get it till today, but I did get it. The basket itself was really nice, and so were the things in it. It had a mickey photo album, a winnie the pooh address/agenda book, plus 3 nice candles, some raspberry bath products, potpurri, and a stamp. It came at a perfect time too as I am at camp all week during the week.

I have been on vacation and when I got home my basket was here waiting on me! I received mine from Regi. It is WONDERFUL!! Its so lovely THANK YOU Diane AKA chelsea&austinsmom I LOVE IT.

Ive got so much stuff i dont know where to start... ok...

I have a Longaberger tea basket, and it are 2 bath & body works soaps, one candy apple & the other iced cranberry, you could smell them as soon as i opened the box up, so yummy. I have bath a nd body works body lotion, body splash and shower gel in lemongrass sage :) & a pampering sponge. From the pampered chef i have an all purpose spreader, bamboo spoons (used for salsa ect) and an all purpose dill mix and southwestern seasoning mix. I cant wait to try those!! my list goes on - how lucky am I!!! I then have a disney pencil which is bent into the shape of mickeys head with the stars and stripes on it, an antenna (sp) topper of mickey dressed as the sun complete with shades and lastly i have a New jersey mickey pin.

I love everything, this basket is so me. I cant wait to try everything out, and the timing was perfect too as ive had a horrible week so far, this has really cheered me up. I also had a lovely letter from Diane telling me about herself and her family.

I can't thank you enough Diane!!

Frankly, I'm getting tired of waiting for mine. I feel that the person that has my name should at least PM me to let me know whether or not its coming.

And if it's not, shame on them for not fulfilling their part of the exchange. I know that circumstances arise, but they could at least have the courtesy to contact me or the coordinator. And if they can't send a basket to me, then they should send me the basket that they received.

Gee whiz people, don't sign up for something that you are not going to go through with.

And for the ones who received but don't have the courtesy to thank the sender or at least let them know you got it, that's bad, VERY BAD.

Now - a BIG shame, shame, shame, shame, shame to all those DISers who signed up and didn't follow through on their promise to mail a basket or a t-shirt, or an ornament. You know, folks, the economy is really tough out there now, and the people who got ripped off by you took the time and money and effort to fulfill their obligation. They obviously have moral character and believe in words such as honesty, integrity, and trustworthy. Sorry to sad - you do not.:mad:

I hope that all of the DISers who were ripped off are notified of who couldn't be bothered to uphold their end of the bargain.

Well, some things are just worth waiting for. I got a great basket from Beauty. It has a porcelain potpourri burner that looks like a tea pot, a winnie the pooh jewlery box, a Cherised Teddy dressed like a clown (and the colors match perfect in my bedroom), apricot mango body lotion that smells yummy, potpourri tarts, candles and a very pretty green metal basket. Thanks again, Beauty. I know you had a lot going on in your life the last month or so and I appreciate everything.

Now this may be a stupid question, but weren't the baskets supposed to arrive in time for July 4th? We had almost 2 months to prepare our baskets for sending, so I don't understand the huge delay in sending.

I have a suggestion for those who didn't receive a basket, t-shirt, or whatever. I would suggest they email the person who organized the exchange and request the information on the person they had been assigned to. Then I would follow up with an email and/or letter to that person telling them how it made you feel. I still think that the people who received a item in the exchange but didn't send one out should forfeit their gift. They should forward the item they received to the person they stiffed. It is not fair that they should get a gift as part of an EXCHANGE when they didn't hold up their end of the trade.

I hadn't received mine by the second week in July so I did get in contact with Goofys and asked if he could find out, which he did - thanks Dave!!!! - and we found out that person had the dates mixed up....which is understandable and that's okay. At least the person got back in contact with Dave. When I did the ornament exchange I had people that I tried to contact and never got back to me....some of them took forever to get back to me but their circumstances were definitely understandable also (illnesses, layoffs, etc.). But I totally agree...if you don't think you are going to be able to hang on to your end of the bargain - at least pm or email the organizer so they can possibly pair up others that are waiting also......

Well, I had a nice surprise in the mail yesterday! Christmas99 sent me a princess antenna ball out of the blue as a little bonus! I was so surprised, and I immediately ran out and put it on my car. Talk about a wonderful gesture and thoughful people here at the DIS!!!:D

I did ask Goofys who had my name and didn't follow through and he told me, but I won't reveal who they were. And last I heard, they haven't thanked the person who sent them a basket either. So...... on to the next exchange. Pixie Power had my name in the YCE and she was more than generous expecially when she knew I was burned in this one. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness. It makes up for this time. I can't sing her praises enough.

In amongst all the goodies was a t-shirt from Clemson U, which being in basket with popouri, smelled DELICIOUSLY spicy and apple-y (I hate to wash it, but now that I've worn it, I'd better).

MY BASKET CAME!!!!!!

Saturday we had a delivery waiting on the steps of my porch when we got home early afternoon from my morning stint and there was my basket!!!!

THANKS SO MUCH TO NHRENEE!!!!!

The basket was a lovely copper type basket with leaves around the edging and inside was a nice Fresh Peach Yankee Candle, some Hot Chocolate mix (I believe from Ghiradelli's - one of my fav chocolate places), an awesome Pooh picture frame (which I can't wait til DISCon now so I can take a pic with some of my friends and put it in my frame), 2 Disney Pins - one being from her state, some irish chocolate and some yummy Cadbury chocolate (yes, it's already gone). It was very very awesome!!!!

Bobcat (Lisa) sent me a lovely natural wicker basket filled with bath goodies (a brush and loofah set, citrus cream and orange blossom glycerin soaps, moisturizing bar, gel, and mineral bath), two Yankee Candle votives, and Kahlua Vanilla Creme coffee (one of my favorites).
