We are arranging our own air and plan on staying at the Orlando airport Hyatt the night before our cruise. How does the transfer to the ship work? And how late do the buses leave from the airport on Saturday? I'd like to have a leisurely morning and am in no hurry to board.

When you're checking in at the Hyatt, let them know that you'll be taking the bus to the Disney Cruise in the morning. They'll let you know everything you need to know.
By the way, don't put your Disney Cruise luggage tags on your bags before your flight... you'll need to wait until the next morning.
Also... don't bother going to Baggage Claim upon arrival at the airport. Just go right to the Hyatt checkin desk. You can hand your baggage claim checks to a porter and they'll deliver your bags from baggage claim to your room (although you will want to show your appreciation in the form of an appropriate gratuity).

We just did this last week. When you check in at the Hyatt, they will give you a letter with instructions. You have to have all your luggage outside of your room by 8:00am. Then you are to report to the hotel lobby between 9:30-11:30 (I think these times are correct). When you go to the lobby, you have to check in with a DCL rep (they're everywhere... you can't miss) and they will stamp your transfer ticket (from your document booklet) with a character name. When you hear your character's name, you line up and they take you to a bus. It was all very easy. We waited in the lobby only about 15 mins before we were called (MINNIE MOUSE YOUR BUS IS READY).

we stayed at the Hyatt and it worked really well. since we got there in the lobby at about 9:15, we were able to sign up and catch the first bus out from there. Our bus from there was the first to arrive at the port, and we were second in line after check in to walk onto the ship. i would do it this way again!!!
We will be flying in the day before our and checking into the airport Hyatt. I was wondering if there is alot of noise from arriving and departing flights. Will we have to leave the airport terminal to enter the Hyatt.

Any business-class hotel constructed in an airport is going to pay particular attention to sound-proofing the rooms. And if you're particularly concerned about it, you could request a room that faces the Atrium rather than the outside.
Will we have to leave the airport terminal to enter the Hyatt. No, the hotel is located in the Atrium just outside the Security checkpoint for Gates 60 - 129. If you're flying in on Delta, AirTran, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, or Vanguard, you'll take a train to the Main Terminal, and you're there! If you're on another airline, you'll be less than a five-minute walk away using moving sidewalks.

mickeynut674, I assume you're not taking TTC until the next morning. The question is whether you can use the Hyatt bellmen to collect your baggage when you check in there the night before your cruise? Yes.

Dave is right about the rooms. We did not hear the planes at all. There was more noise from the hallways first thing in the morning. The ataruim rooms are nice, if you open the door you will hear water sounds from the big fountain in the lobby of the airport.
