DH and I are doing a 7 day land/sea in December. I was wondering if anyone who has flown from Newark, NJ could tell me what airlines and departure times DCL normally uses.

It will help me in my planning, which we all know can never start too early!

Thanks!

I don't know which airline is out of New Jersey but we flew Delta from Denver. I think Delta is the Disney affiliated airline.
P.S. We love our Greyhound too!

Seeing that you are in NJ I would guess Continental will be your airline.

I believe that word around here is that you can book your flights much much cheaper than Disney charges. It's worth checking out either online with someone like Expedia or a travel agent like AAA.

When we used Disney Air we were once on Delta express once on Continental.

We flew Continental from OKC and DCL made all reservations. It was great!

We've cruised using DCL air three times out of New York, and all three times was Delta.

Ditto on the book it yourself. I made my own air reservations (from California) and saved enough money (based on what I would have paid DCL) to spend three nights at AKL prior to our cruise.:)

We live in Jersey and are leaving in a couple of weeks for
Orlando and a cruise on the Wonder. We booked our own air through Delta because it was considerably cheaper than DCL.
Making the reservations was easy.

Coming out of EWR (Newark), Delta and Continental are
your best bet for non-stop flights. We usually fly Continental,
however Delta Express was cheaper by far at the time of our
booking. We have no experience with DE, so we are hoping
everything will go smoothly. So far, so good.

Do yourself a favor and check it out. Good luck.

PS: If you willing to go to LaGuardia, there are REALLY cheap
fares from there. We were not. It would have to be pretty much
FREE for it to be worth it for us. :D

We just got our docs today for the Juky 6th Magic and we are flying US Air from LaGuardia NY. One the return, we have a stop over in Pittsburg. Next time I will book my own air so we can be assured of direct flights

We flew out of Newark, NJ for both our Disney Cruises and both times the airline was Continental. We booked the entire cruise w/airfare through AAA.

I hope this information helps you.

You get pre-boarding on Delta if you're a Medallion flyer. My family has always been able to board with me.

Not delta express flight or delta conncetion only on reg delta flights. they use to have first class and pre boarding but not anymore. Delta at newyark is just reg boarding
