Having enjoyed Mickey's Magic Show as much as we did yesterday I decided to do a bit of a google search to see what was coming soon and I discovered that later in the year they are doing Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes with Tinkerbell and Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and Mulan :goodvibes Anyhow to cut a long story short, I rang the telephone number on the website and managed to pre-book front row tickets before they go on sale  can't wait, although I do have to wait until Sunday 11th October :goodvibes Absolutely desperate for a Disney fix and until dh will let me book a trip this gives me something to look forward to. DD is just going to love it

I don't think they go on sale until mid April, I'll pm you the details ... don't know if it would breach posting rules advertising something a bit naughty :goodvibes

I've been trying to get tickets for this after seeing HSM on Ice last year, Lottie is desperate to go! It looks really good.

Didn't they do this theme on Ice a couple of years ago? I've definitely seen a Disney On Ice that was just Princesses at Nottingham arena.

It was great for Princess lovers I have to say :goodvibes - very sparkly, glittery and fluffy-kitten.

I'm trying to work out if this is the same show we saw in Notts some years ago too (it was very good),
but it'll have to wait until I get home and dig out the programme.

*EDIT* - actually this wikipedia article says it's a different show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_on_Ice

Yes, it does look different - 7 individual Princess wishes this time it looks like.

Might it have been Princess Classics that was at Nottingham a few years ago then? I remember seeing Abu as a huge elephant on the ice in the first half with Jasmine, and of course Cinderellas carriage all lit up in the 2nd half.

Am considering this, as we are going to Walking With Dinosaurs at the NIA in the summer for DS, so this would be a nice treat for DD. Is it phenomenally girly do you think, ie would DS (7) hate it?!

I have to admit, I thought the last Princess-themed one was very girly. But I don't have boys, so I don't know if they would have found something to interest them :confused3 .

I prefer the more universal ones myself - I loved Toy Story 2, and the Stitch-led one. I also quite liked the Incredibles one.

Hmm......don't want to split up, so if DS will actively dislike it we might not go. He doesn't mind the princess meal at Auberge but I'm not sure he'd be up for a whole show......do the princes appear too?

The Princes were in the last one, I guess they would be in this one too.

dd keeps asking to see Mickey's Magic Show again so she's just going to love the Princesses ... just wondering if I can persuade dh to let me book a trip to DLP to fill in the time :rotfl:

We've seen the last three shows ~ Princess Classics, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo and they are absolutley fantastic, well worth our 3 hour drive to Birmingham. We've decided to give this year's one a miss and spend the money on something special at WDW but I hope everyone going thoroughly enjoys it. :thumbsup2

We've seen the Princesses and HSM on Ice in the O2. Fabulous!!! Worth every penny!

Trying to decide if we should go to DLRP sometime this year or book the Princesses on Ice... or both :woohoo:

Hmmmmmm.... DH would be pleased... NOT! :lmao:
