We usually want to sleep by then :lmao:
We normally eat our main meal in the afternoon so when we've stayed at the Santa Fe we normally head into the bar there and have some pizza slices or a baguette and unwind a bit then just head back to our room and bed. We're usually all snoring away by 9am and then up for the 7am breakfast the next day!

Last time We were there my wfie went to sleep at about 9pm, with my son. I've never been one to go to bed early.
I walked around all the hotels, looked at the different shops, got some excellent photo's around the lake and of the hotels lit up.
Disney village I think, has a total different atmosphere on a night time. I even went to the park entrances, and took photos of the ToT lit up, disneyland hotel etc.
Santa Fe has Internet upstairs from the bar you can use for a small fee.
Then there is always the hotel bars if you want a relaxing drink.

Sad as it sounds, if we have already eaten our main meal at lunch we will grab a snack at the village then head back to the room.
As its only me and my 3 year old i try and get her into bed before 9pm otherwise the next day will turn out to be a total disaster lol. Lack of sleep is not good when you go DLP lol.

When were there one of the days the park doesnt close til 10pm so its not to bad. But I would suggest maybe wait and have dinner once the park closes (or not long before the park closes).
Or you could go for drinks in the the bar (I hear there all very child friendly) Maybe you should take some cards or something. But to be honest you will probably be suprised how tired you are.
Have a fantastic time.

Before kids, it used to be the late showing of Buffalo Bills, or Dinner in the Steakhouse, California Grill or Annette's, maybe KIng Ludwigs. A little shopping. Some swimming. Cocktails in one of the bars (at least once at the DLH and they have a non alcoholic one in a souvenir cup for your 8 year old). We would often be found dancing or watching the live music at Billy Bob's. Also games, bowling and IMAX are good fun at night too. Don't forget a trip up in the Panaramagique Balloon.
Now we are parents, if the park closes at 7, it is a stroll back to the hotel via a shop maybe or a cocktail, then bath and bed ready for the 6:30 wake up call.

We tend to eat our main meal in the evenings, so after that, I often head to the village and have a nose around the shops. Occasionally we head to the bar of our hotel for a cocktail, or I also regularly head to either mcdonalds or another wifi enabled area to catch up with friends back home (as well as here on DIS).
I'm used to being quite late to bed, but we don't really have a need to be up for EMH as DB's disabled access pass means that we don't really gain a lot from it, so we sleep in a little later :thumbsup2

Shop a bit in Disney Village and watch any street entertainment there, then back to the Hotel for a bubble bath and Disney channel.
If there are Disney friends there that we know we may meet up for a chat and depending where we're staying the kids may swim or play in the games room. Generally we tend to be asleep well before midnight as we like to make an early start :goodvibes

I've only been once in August last year. There was no time outside the parks at all really, once we went to Buffalo Bill's and another night we had our anniversary dinner at the California Grill, but everyother night we were out and about til closing (after Enchanted Fireworks), straight to the hotel then up for Good Morning FantasyLand breakfasts! I was exhausted by the end of my *holiday* and slept the whole way back on the Eurostar!
Hopefully the next trip will be a little more laid back! :rotfl:

we eat our evening meal , but not till around 10pm on the 1st night
also spent time around the village looking in the shops, or just sitting in bar area of the hotel
We go to the Village and have our main meal of the day in a nice relaxed atmosphere without worrying about missing anything. Then hubby and son head back to the hotel. I take my time looking in every shop, every evening looking for pin trades. Usually buy something and then I go back to the hotel. I don't have Disney Channel at home and I love watching Hannah Montana and Zack and Cody and the High School Musicals. Husband laughs at me. Son plays on DS and Husband reads the papers which he always has to buy at the Station on his way back to the hotel. Although this year when we go I think Starbucks will be open and I would say that is where Hubby will be.

We stay in the parks until closing time (or nearly), then we go for dinner somewhere in the Village or at one of the onsite hotels. That usually takes us up til about 9pm, then we might have a look in the shops in the Village, then by 10pm we're tucked up in bed, setting the alarm for eek o'clock the following morning :rotfl: .

I have to admit we tend to grab something to eat the village, followed by some shopping and then back to the hotel where I tend to try and grab an early night. DH laughs because I say we need to be in bed early and calls it Disney Boot Camp but I just want to be refreshed to enjoy the next day :goodvibes He sometimes goes for a walk with ds but I always give them a curfew :rotfl:
