Which would you choose? Hyatt Regency Orange county or the new Staybridge suites?

Am planning a stay in December and any opinions or comments would be appreciated.

Can't comment on other hotel but Hyatt is average at best. We've stayed there 2 years in a row only because it was free (I had points built up). I wouldn't pay anything over $75 for a room.

I am really sad to hear that...would you recommend candy cane inn vs the hyatt?

Have never stayed there - but have heard that it's ok. When we went last year an Embassy Suites was being built next door. I would check that out.

I am surprised at your rating of hyatt because they supposedly had this big renovation.
